hi !
Well m&d rang up yesterday and ended up coming for lunch today! Had to clean up - did get OH and DS to help, and cook. Did chops, home made roasties, cabbage, carrots, leeks, broccoli, cauliflower, peas
Make a plum and apple crumble... was nice...
After parents left - waited for an hour and then took the kids swimming... Also made veg soup. And did some pasta and froze some new meals.... Made the basis for a stew for tomorrow....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well today took the day off church. Spent the morning in bed. Had a family treat lunch at Pizza hut (budgeted) before coming home wrapping a pressie and taking DD to a party. DS stayed home while OH and I went to the gym. Then picked up DD and came home.
Had a help yourself tea! Read MG's book on memory and decided to do some colourful mindmaps on my perfect week - plus a special focus on the housework challenge... I want to get OH and the kids helping me far more with the housework and hope that by spelling out more what needs doing I can get individuals to take on more of the tasks... making if fairer for me and creating a more beautiful home.. Wish me luck!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well if that day ever happens I will let you know....
I think I have conjunctivitis - I've bought some ointment but my eye feels ultra itchy! Really hope it starts to improve soon as it is driving me mad and people commented how rough I looked today! It didn't help that I wore no make up!
Felt completely behind at work today - but then I did owe 3.5 hours... Have caught up with 2 of the hours tonight... and have done some of my most critical stuff so feel slightly better.
Lounge still not done though... and OH has been out all evening at a friends so kitchen not done either strangely!
I did feed the family grilled chicken, roasties and peas tho so at least we ate well. DS had made a victoria sponge in cooking class at school so we also got to eat that which was nice.
DD managed okay today with the inserts and seems to have come round to the shoes... They were £20 ones not the £36 :eek:clarks ones she preferred! Since I had already paid out £20 for school shoes at the start of term that have now been deemed "wrong" I didn't want to pay out another £36 on top! Did manage to get 10% off tho at Brantanos too as they were originally £22.
Going to bed shortly. Got to be up and out early for me tomorrow to get my hair cut before work as you do :rotfl:It was the only time they could fit me in which didn't involve waiting another 2 weeks! Hoping that will improve how I feel as with the gym long hair seems a bit unmanageable...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
