Didn't take packed lunch today - oops!

Had a hard day at work today.....

OH has just announced that bill for fixing his motorbike is already over £500 and is still rising...:eek::eek:I am hiding somewhere in a corner!!! :o I may put that cost on 0% spend card I have and pay it after xmas as I can't face that right now and don't want to be distracted from paying the other 2 cards off... Definitely a blow tho - I was thinking expensive job as in up to £300 but I basically told OH I couldn't cope with hearing about it on the phone and went into denial mode :o

Going to cinema later with DS - should have been OH too but after I'd booked the tickets he announced he was revising tonight:mad: You wonder sometimes why you bother! So not a good money day!

DD is really missing us and sounds quite sad on the phone... :( Wondering whether to pop over there and see her tomorrow teatime... Don't know if that will make things better or worse!

OH ended up coming - and we didnt buy any drinks or popcorn so that saved a fortune!

I quite liked salt - it was my kind of action. It was a bit mission impossible mixed with bourne ultimatum

oh well just put the impact of the student loan payment into my spreadsheet - £100 down a month makes a considerable difference to our cash flow... I definitely need to do more on the Make £10 a day challenge again to kind of ease the pain of that....

Hi - well as I was driving home I saw that M&S have their dine in for £10 offer on - and as I had £9 in vouchers we are now having a posh tea. Chicken with lime, ginger and chilli, roast potatoes, mixed veg, lime cheesecake type thing (and bottle of wine being saved for a gift). Can't wait... yum yum!

I am hopeful that I won't get docked as much money out of my next salary as I thought as I have done quite a lot of mileage this week - so as long as I get my claim in tomorrow it should be okay! That's a relief - they overpaid me £110 and strangely wanted it back so was a bit worried. Think will balance out now tho.

My cleaner isn't coming for 3 weeks now which will save us £69 which is handy given our current finances! It was her choice she is having some time out with her family!

My boss has confirmed she is still trying to get me made perm - but says may not know more until October now...

Just paid DS his pocket money into his bank account for the first time - feels weird! Part of growing up though. Need to hurry up and get to work but a) struggling to be bothered and b) its my last day in before I have a week off. Oh well mush mush - see you all later! At least my car park bill for today will be less as going to another site first! Must remember to do expenses!

Well home again now with a week off in front of me! Fab.... Ended up working 4 extra hours this week which means I am back in credit on my flexi-time which is nice.

Got DS chopping up some mushrooms, onion, peppers while some chicken marinades in peri peri sauce. I've got brown rice on the stove and the house is still reasonably tidy. We have pretty much maintained it since the cleaner's visit yesterday which is good.

OH's motorbike is costing £516 for what they have already done plus a £25 part he has ordered!!! We were planning to pick it up tomorrow but it sounds like despite having it a week they may not have finished it! TBH it would suit me not to pick it up until Tuesday anyway.......

Going away tomorrow for 2 days for our clubcard stay at the marriott! Can't wait LOL

Just ordered a new george foreman 4 portion grill from amazon... - we have a 2 portion one at the moment and although teflon style coating has come off. This one will have removeable plates which can go in the dishwasher which is good. Used my £10 Amazon voucher towards it so just had £34.99 left... Be great when it arrives
