Hi guys
Well today was mostly okay - apart from whole day was a rush - so could get back in time to take DS to doctors to get antibiotics. Which I managed - only to find out at 10pm that DS hadn't even bothered to take them yet. I went mad at him. All of us are feeling ill, sneezing etc so even dosed DD up before bed as big family celebration at the weekend and don't want everyone ill for it!
I have managed to get OH to rehang curtains but had to damp cloth/rub the emulsion he'd got on them off first so wasn't imprssed. Did try sticking hemline up with wonder web but it just wouldn't stick. Main bits of furniture now back in right place but still need to put contents back on some of the shelves. Have done some but feels never ending. Putting a few things into a charity bag along the way too.
I want to do online banking but can't find the pin sentry device which is annoying. Especially considering we have two - but I think that reflects how many boxes/crates we still need to unpack. Need OH to move the TV cupboard over more before I refill it with DVDs etc LOL.
I had a fruit smoothie for tea followed by veg soup so tomorrow could be interesting LOL. I was trying to be healthy but followed it up with chocolate so not quite worked....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi guys - well I'm up need to be in work for 9.30am so need to get a shift on. currently eating breakfast so part way there. I think DS is deliberately milking the time off and is happy to stay ill. He also just won't tidy up his room and bring down crockery etc - I've said to him that his room resembles a fairground or concert arena after the fans have been and if we didn't have such a new house we'd have rats! We found a lidless bottle of chocolate spread under DD's bed and she is better than him at sorting her room. I'm not generally that houseproud but food, crockery and litter I get really upset about if its not put in its proper place! Understandably so I think!!
DD is also ill. So going to leave DS with DD today - I work close by so may be able to come home later if needed. Will try and finish early too. I'm in the new bit of my job today and have a meeting otherwise I might have been able to work from home.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well I ended up working late but I did ring home twice to make sure they were okay and OH got home at a reasonable time. Just made DS go out for the good of his health (otherwise known as to buy us milk!!) Much cheaper if he goes LOL although I did drop one of the lots of milk as soon as it go home and wasted about 1.5 pints which was frustrating but there we go
Kids seem a bit brighter.... I did suggest to DS that he do some washing today but that doesn't seem to have happened.... not particularly surprised. TBH it was handy that he was off sick but well enough to look after DD. He's going to be my childcare for the strike day too as the schools are shut.
We bust the toilet seat in the downstairs loo this week - I think it was weakened when I stood on it to paint LOL but the effects were only made clear this week. I have 2 tubs of paint to take back to B&Q so that should more than cover the cost so planning on doing that...
