Well I've finally managed to do online banking and someone has transferred some promised money into our account towards our xmas pressies and my M&D have promised to transfer their share across later result! DS has asked me to get a particular game for him for xmas - I've said I will providing he promises to give me his xmas money to pay for it - apparently the game is half price at the moment.
Have set up payment to my CC so that should all go thro okay - and OH has put right his missed payment. Anything else goes out by DD so not worried about that.
Had breakfast but still need to get dressed. Sent DD out before to pick some apples that were still on our tree that I'd forgotten about! They should be yummy!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi well used voucher for 25% off and saved £36 so I'll leave you to work that one out - Got a pair of boots for me, and 2 pairs of shoes for work/going out and a pair of shoes for OH and some boots and new schools shoes for DD. Because of the problem with her feet she needs bigger sizes so the shoes I bought at the start of term are useless!
HB did have a soft close toilet seat for just under £10 so pleased with that. So still have credit note for B&Q. Wondering about going to a big Mr Ts to swap the clothes but worried I will end up spending more.... but also worried if I just send them back won't get it refunded properlyAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

She loved her birthday pressie which was good. Will go back another day to help her put it up and OH is going to fit her xmas present too...

Thanks Gill. Definitely coping better now. Still problems with sleep but I think that's due to trying to get up earlier and worrying about being late.... Still waiting to find out about interviews...
Physio happy with DD's new shoes and trainers etc - apparently she is walking right again now - so just need to take her back when her feet next grow to see if she needs a new set of special inner soles...
Iced my cake which was nice but not as good as last week. DS is looking after DD tomorrow. Cleaner also coming at some point. Need to ideally go for a leaving meal tomorrow but would rather not financially but at the same really like the person.... Still not heard from furniture store which is frustrating really want new suite now.... Only having a 2 seater is annoying....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Today was quite a good day. Had leaving meal for a friend - only cost me £6 as someone else picked up the drinks which was good. Still have flexi credit despite meal and taking DD to appointment yesterday which is useful. Things are getting busier at work... which is good and bad... I need to be careful not to take too much on and try and keep on top of things....
Got home really late tonight as also went to chemist for DS who now has ear ache and tooth ache. Really need to get him into a dentist.
Have ordered my dad a m00np!g card with our photo on the front - as he is in hospital at the moment but it is too far to go just to visit. It was for a planned op and all seems to be going well so far so good

Hi guys - well I ended up having to de-louse my DD's hair again
( and my own :eek::eek:) So DD has gone from having waist length hair to sporting a fashionable bob courtesy of me!! Tried it leave enough length a hairdresser can do it properly once she's definitely free of the blighters if that day ever comes! It took hours! She begged to go to bed bless her!!
OH finally took DS to dentist and is going back with him again tomorrow. DS has some more antibiotics relating to his teeth now rather than his ears. OH is taking DD to dentist next week. He was complaining about how he would fit it in.... I just said welcome to my world! Not like he should have to do it that often I wouldn't have thought. I have a dentist phobia going on so haven't taken them and both their sets of teeth are not the best unfortunately.
DD has to take stuff in for the xmas fair tomorrow - so I am sending in out grown school uniform - hopefully there will be some mum's pleased with that - especially in this recession!
My dad is in hospital this week and his recover has been a bit slower than expected so considering going down there on Saturday. OH is going to go in the other direction and hopefully fit a light for MIL. So it sounds like its going to be another of those manic weekends!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Well DD is still pleased with her hair today and it looks okay to me. I left it a bit longer at the front and it has a natural curl to it which is proving "quite forgiving" of the cut if you know what I mean. It's non-uniform day so she was able to wear some new things I'd bought her recently so was very happy. Let's hope her friends all like her hair. She said it was so much easier to brush this morning - which it would be - it's about a third the length it was if not shorter LOL
Going to try and get in a bit earlier today - was in a little too late yesterday and it caused someone else a problem...
I'm still in credit flexi-wise which is good.... Not by huge amounts but enough to take the stress off if you do have an appointment somewhere or need to finish early or have a long lunchAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi guys well yesterday was fine. Today visited my dad in hospital with DS went Ok. Ended up collecting my sis and her husband too so they could go and help my mum when dad returns tomorrow. So done over 300 miles today - twice as much as expected but there we go. Family were grateful and it was nice to see my sis for the first time in over a year.
OH went and fitted light at MIL's - but he couldn't actually get it working. MIL thinks it looks very pretty much nicer than what she had before. Apparently the last light didn't work either... Apparently she may never have tried it since moving in.... He is going to try and go back with a board to put on the rafters as he was scared of falling through the ceiling and an electricity meter (but would need to buy one first!) - but because of all the insulation he struggled to find the other side of the light fitting in the loft and wasn't convinced it was connected to anything anyway!! Will see her at some point this week as its my DD's school play and MIL has asked us to go over next weekend too....
Still don't have a date for the suite. We did however have some good news today. Checked online banking - my parents transferred the xmas £ last week - and insurance paid up £613! So that was releifAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
