Pleased worked pretty much full time this week so pleased with that.

Am still having pain wherever clothes are tight/fitted in the operation zone which is annoying.... Taken 2 diclofenac - need to up the paracetamol I think

This weekend loads to do - as much painting as we can fit in but also need to take car to get stereo fixed under warranty which could potentially waste 3 hours or more - will try persuade OH to do that. Will also remove some shopping temptation. Also need to go and pick up pressies I ordered earlier in the week from the next town so also time consuming and have to go when direct desk is open....

Cooking chicken kiev, chips and peas for tea...

Have also picked up prescription from doctors but need to get it filled.

Rest of family sat around relaxing - nothing on their minds LOL

Got prescription and did a bit of shopping. Now have everything for DD for xmas. Got a load of wine that we like for a really good price so stocked up ready for xmas visits and hampers. Used a £5 off Mr A voucher and split my shopping in two so qualified for 2 x £5 vouchers.... Need to put them on the price guarantee thing tomorrow. Then I think have until 23rd to use them...

OH has agreed to take car to garage to fix stereo and get it washed. I may go and pick up DS's main xmas pressie - it has arrived in store... I also picked up a debenhams voucher for money off at work today so may see if there is anything there... Had to take another cocodomol today to clear pain but geerally getting there. Completely over-eating tho which is bad....

 Just bobbing in to check up in on you. ;)

Hope you manage to remember between now and christmas that you already have all DD's prezzies! :p

Whatever happened with the old car? Did you ever get that fixed for DH? We've got water sloshing about in the shell of ours somewhere, which really needs sorting before the ice sets in, but I've no idea where to start with that one! :rotfl: No idea where to fit it in around hospital visiting/appointments/DH's meetings etc either...

I gather your still not sleeping well BZ 3am!! Yes if I over-buy for DD can just divert to other little girls on our xmas list, parties etc or to her birthday so not too worried.;)

OH has taken our new car to get it washed and an annoying hiss on the radio fixed. Old car -he now drives to work and back and its behaving a little better. Since I don't have to drive it - no longer care too much :rotfl:.

OH has said DD can have a sleepover and the little girl is arriving at 2pm:eek: (I'd said to her mother late afternoon). DD is now in the bath and then she has to finish tidying and hoovering her room;).
Told DS his mission this weekend whether he likes it or not is to tidy and hoover his bedroom and there will be no computer other than for music until its done!! Wish me luck enforcing that one!! I need to hoover lounge before little girl comes unless can persudade OH to on his return....

I'm hoping to go and collect pressie shortly from other town and have a wander around the shops. Need to do Mr As price guarantee first so get some extra fivers off spend.:money:

Got this table recently from Ikea for our lounge as a laptop / homework / eating table. DS put it together the other day and really likes it. I was secretly proud of him that he managed to do it all by himself:j

Hi guys I swapped £25 club card vouchers for £50 of nightwear and clothes for me and DD for xmas. What's even better is I found them online when I checked after Martin said about checking for old clubcard vouchers... I had about £30 that I didn't know I had!! Fab! Only counting the £25 uplift tho plus

I also got 3 lots of PJs - and it was on 3 for 2 so got £12.50 off

Cashback has tracked from DS's xmas pressie which is nice.... £11.50 I wasn't banking on... Need to add it to the list...

DS and I went to primarni and bought some xmas pressies... and quite a few things for me

I also used a 20% off voucher in Debenhams to buy a DVD for DS (with his money) and some crystal glasses which will be my xmas pressie. One glass was missing so they gave me an extra 20% off again after that... So originally price £58 - revised price £36ish.... Really pleased!!

  • I've done that with Mr T vouchers as often if they are only for a couple of quid I forget to take them with me. You can print them off at home too, so you don't need to wait for them to be re-issued. I think I'll be using mine for clothes this year, as they haven't got all the good choices of departments they had last year, and often you can't combine offers in other departments. I was going to use them for toiletries and perfume but you can't use 3 for 2 on those.

Took DS as an air cadet to outdoor rememberance day parade. OH took DD to normal service where the theme is rememberance and forgiveness.

I took some beef out to defrost overnight but it is still fairly solid so won't be having that for dinner.... perhaps it will have defrosted by teatime!

Just made myself a coffee and am wondering about going to the coffee and chat bit after the service at our church so I can still catch up with people... Alternatively I could get my painting clothes on and get a head start.... hmmm.... I think I'll sit nursing my coffee a little longer while I think about that one....

Did anyone else buy the £4 quality street from Mr As for xmas and find they've already gone....
