Just catching up, am so glad my days of pesky hair pests are over, can remember having to have my hair cut when I was at school.
I'm with you on the dental phobia, when DS was small my parents used to take him, I couldn't bear the thought of going, even if it wasn't me being treated.

Thanks Gill - Had hair done which was nice. Did the M&S deal for dine in for £10 thing... planning to freeze some as treat food and some as party food...
Got pork cooking in the oven hopefully use for the rest of the week. Hopefully will do some meat balls etc too and pre-cook for the rest of the week. May make cake too as it is one of my fave things of the moment...
I just printed off £18 of vouchers courtesy of Mr As
I've put together a stocking for one of my sis - and got DD to wrap up little sweetie type pressies and a bottle of wine as a pressie for xmas. So they have some prizes to open - giving her a hamper next week - but its wrapped in see thro cellophane and I would like her to have some surprises left... Bless as they have zero money. I've also just put together a hamper for a family I know who are struggling its nice to be able to help.... and things like the Mr As vouchers definitely make that easier.....
Got bargains at HB too....
Got drinks and other nibbles in for next week so will only need to buy fresh food next week for the relatives meal/party next week. Will be about 15 of us I think depending on whether everyone comes! Might sound strange to some of you but most I will have had round at once for some years....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Lu - the hampers are fab. My friend was made up. This the same friend who came and helped clean my house after my operation, decluttered my bedroom this time last year - and took me to hospital at zero notice recently so was glad to help her. I will try and post piccies at some point but not had the energy to get to grips with photobucket again and upload stuff...
Just made some orange loaf again which I am already looking forward to eating altho I am feeling slightly sick from eating cake mix at the mo LOL
I am rather upset with OH as he punched a hole in the wall upstairs for some undisclosed reason!! He has promised to fix it tomorrow.... At least OH has remembered where his drill is - he'd lent it to a friend who all being well is returning it tomorrow.
My kids have been really clingy today... think perhaps they missed me this week... but you know that feeling you get when they won't leave you alone..... enough said!
Wrapped photo for parents today in big cardboard box it looks very impressive LOL
Today I've made 6 portions of meatballs and pasta - and frozen 2. We had lovely stew today that I made yesterday and have enough left for another day - plus I put a 2 portions in tubs to take in at lunchtime... I have such a busy week coming up that I think if I don't take it in myself I probably wouldn't get to eat.... I've also done 3 loads of washing... still have at least one load to do... Then it will still need sorting etc...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Busy,busy,busy...your life sounds hectic! In bit of a comparison to my very lazy weekend...DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0

hi Tirl - my life feels hectic!
Today I got picked up by a colleague at about 8.30am and delivered some training etc and got back about 6pm. I took a portion of stew with me and cake which I scoffed at lunchtime - very mse. I got home ate one of my portions of meatballs and pasta.... Got changed and basically turned round and went back out - getting diesel along the way - and went to a friend's house where about 8 of us met for a xmas get together... Gave her a xmas hamper....
My DS has been off school today with the runs - so got back from friends house made myself a brew only for DS to say he'd run out of the anti-diarhoea medicine and could I nip out and get some - so I am only just getting my coffee now!!
I did use some of my price guarantee vouchers which was nice... But basically tomorrow is really hectic as well - training all day followed by potentially have to get a big job done ready for Wednesday am..... At least I am not due out tomorrow night which is just as well as I think DD has missed me. I also need to try and get DD a specific pressie from MIL which is only the right price at one shop....!!
At least I am sleeping better now....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Hi guys - well I think the delay in my posting - shows how busy this week has been!
Work was hectic - I'm now up 10 hours (across a number of weeks) despite taking 2 hours off for a medical appointment for OH. Felt ill the last few days but worked anyway. Did some of my work from home.
Done a lot of baking too ready for the weekend when we have family coming over!
Suite arrived yesterday and looks stunning and all I hoped for.... Not had anyone over to show it off to yet tho LOL. Good job it came yesterday as I don't think it would have made it today due to snow!! So everything looks and feels very christmassyAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
