Shame about barclaycard, hopefully you'll get it sorted with 0% interest.

Do you go on the motorbike ever?

Hi Tirl - I'm too chicken to go on the motorbike.... I also wouldn't want to do it without full protective gear which is not worth purchasing if I am only likely to go on it the one time LOL

I'm sure V or H will give us the 0% deal just need to sort it in a timely way.

I've made myself a lovely orange, banana, apple, kiwi, pro-biotic yoghurt and ice smoothie - so feel very virtuous in terms of all those lovely vitamins flowing into my body...

Can't believe how fast time goes sometimes tho as really I need to go and shower etc and get ready to go to work. I'm planning a short day today but I have a meeting I can't get out of so I'm going in - even if I then come home and work afterwards... I may see if a friend if around at lunchtime so we can have a catch up but it depends how busy she is really (she doesn't always take a proper break).

I've not done any planned exercise this week as last week was too exhausting.... I think sadly for now I need to build up my stamina for work and keep my job rather than focus too much on the exercise thing until I've got the being in work bit more under control.

Thanks Tirl - yes exercise is important in balance.... I was so tired today my eyes were leaking - I couldn't keep them open when I got home so went to lie on my bed but tried to stay awake when I got home.

I watched Matilda for the 10 millionth time with DD earlier... or should I say I snook out and make a coffee cake part way thro... Yummy!!! Eating it with coffee now. DS actually made it to air cadets today which was good and they did an activity with them so he was happier about it... They ended up talking about s3x and contraception on the way home.... Luckily neither have a girlfriend so safe for now LOL Quite a contrast of conversation in one evening tho LOL

I'm quite pleased... I know its small fry but only paid for parking once this week - so that saved me about £12. Having said that I've spent about £9 on food this week at work - so still need to improve there... My grocery shop is coming down slowly....

My energy levels are all messed up all over the show - I feel like making soup now when I should be settling down for sleep... So may go take tablets and prepare a few ingredients and get one started... Or perhaps tidy up the kitchen.... OH has got someone over to help with his bike tomorrow need to make sure place looks respectable!

Glad you are liking the car, you sound really pleased with it.

Don't worry about the exercise at the moment, you need to build up your stamina slowly, even by walking etc. The idea is to do a bit more each week, not to do lots!

Hi guys - yes still really liking the new car

Unfortunately also still getting tired really easily! Altho to be fair so is OH - but then he was up early to fix his motorbike. He got a friend to help - gave him a bottle of wine:money:

Drove to relative's shop about the flooring.... (got OH to drive back). Even at a deal.... The flooring is still very expensive... but should last long term.... Have gone away to think about it - couldn't get my head round spending it all in one go...

OH got a bit of a shock - the price was what he expected but I mentioned I would want to repaint 2 or 3 of the rooms (ourselves) before the flooring went down which he wasn't aware of. Don't want the walls and doors and skirting boards to look grubby against the nice new stuff tho...

We could probably agree the timing to suit which should help budget-wise so will try and aim for after November pay day for both of us.... That gives us more time to get the painting done too.
OH has downloaded our spending into microsoft money and has realised he spends more than he thinks:rotfl: as well as some of the other areas of over-spend at the moment so we might actually have a joint partnership on money on an active rather than passive basis that it has been in my MSE time to date:money:

We are going to friends for a meal tonight - but I'm already shattered. Should be good tho. DS is happy as I've got some frozen pizza in for them to have while we're out (and popcorn).

Had a nice time out with friends. Really good conversation - one of those memory days.

DS and DD enjoyed their pizza and popcorn and seem to have been happy enough.

I've come home and unpacked and packed the dishwasher and tidied up some of the lounge. OH has gone straight to sleep having gone to bed at about 4am last night and getting up at 7.30am! I wonder where his brains are sometimes.
