My bridesmaid has cut all her hair off and now won't match the rest of us or be able to wear the hair accesrory I've already bought! Yes I'm aware this is irrational but yes I'm still annoyed ;)

Oh no! Can you wear them round the house to get used to them?

    HBS x

I have been trying, I don't usually wear heels at all so why I thought these 6 inch skyscrapers were a feasible option I really don't know! (oh yes I do, its because they're pink and fabulous :o) I have some others for the reception, I just want them for the 'wow' factor. I'm sure I can make it down the aisle clinging to my dad and back clinging to hubby!

Katy - what is the accessory? Could you customise it or swap it for a slide of some sort that will still work? Or insist on a hairpiece :D

Don't think she'd go for that ;) It's a small comb but it's really heavy and I know there's no chance of it not sliding out of short hair! Oh well I'll get some cheap hair flowers instead I think

Spots spots spots. I'm scared of getting spots for the day because I get really angry ones. I'm getting stressed about them already so i'm probably going to have spots from now until December :D

Blimey you poor things having guests drop out! Have you got anyone you can bump up?

One of my flowergirls has had a hair cut and now she's got a fringe! I had long flowing locks in mind! Would it be wrong to put hair extensions on a 5 year old? ;)

I'm a bridezilla and my confession is......

That I just want our parents to be happy for us!!!

We hit a few problems when we changed our original plans from having something big to something small and my sister kicked off big time because it's a family occasion and all the family should be together. My mistake in thinking it's about me and OH. When all that happened OHs mum said we should just go away and do it.....and that's what we are doing. When OH told his parents she's now disgusted at the thought of us doing that whilst his dad is indifferent and says if that's what we want then do it!
My mum (who is the one that had her outfit for the original plans and should by the upset one) is delighted that we are going abroad and even looked into coming with us but decided she can't afford it.
My dad admitted the other night that he's not happy we are going away abroad as he should be giving me away and he can't go as he will be away on holiday. Now.....his holiday is a trip away on his boat to an area that he has visited 3 times already! I think 'can't' is actually 'wont'.

It's upsetting that they can't be happy for us and respect our decisions and to please dad we should be having a registry office do before we go away so he can go!!! Told him if we did that it would be a waste of his time as we'd be there in jeans and tshirt and it would take about 5 mins and then we'd go home again. No meal, no cake, no cars, no photos, and then we'd go to our chosen destination to actually do it the way we want!

Oh....and we HAVE to have a party when we get back. This is one of the reasons we changed our plans as we don't want a !!!!!!!g party! Our families are at opposite ends of the country and we don't want to put folk out and also spend a fortune just so everyone else can enjoy themselves! The solution we got to that one? Have 2 parties, one in each place!!!!!

    NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry, need to get it off the chest now and again!

I know exactly how you feel!

I like our plans for our wedding but if we could have everything that we are having with only the 2 of us, my Mum & Dad, my brother, sister inlaw and nephew it would make our lives alot easier. But we have just had endless drama from people that it seems to be more about them than the fact we are actually getting married, like it's to much effort for them, or they are jealous the list goes on. I feel like posting a message on facebook "if you arent happy for us or supporting us they please do not attend our wedding!!" And if no one turned up so be it! Some people have just been behaving like children its awful.
