Thank you, my irrational feelings have calmed down. I am going to decline the day invitation as I will not know anyone other than the bride, her mum and brother, and will struggle with the mingling, the meal, being in a room of people I do not know. I will however ask her if I can go and see her get married, as this after all is the main part and would love to see her married. Hopefully I will know more people at the night time, I will wait to ask who is going, and take it from there.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
I don't think you are being irrational. You are/were obviously very close, and I think it was a reasonable reaction. I think perhaps sometimes you find out some weird truths when it comes to weddings!

ARGHHH she hasnt even set a date and ours is all planned and in 8 months
why wont people just wear what i tell them to!!!!The only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Oh, Double Mummy, I hope you find something soon. Take revenge - put her in something unsuitable...
Seriously though, I am sure before the next 8 months you will have found something.

i have found some really ugly dresses (and looked at bin liners and potato sacks :rotfl: )but want my pics to be nice lol
might just make her wear the dress and then she can change hers if she wants to or she can seem that she is copying me lol
sisterly rivalries are not good when wedding planning
maybe just give her a scare at the fitting by bringing out a terrible one first for her whilst my SIL gets her really pretty dress
you always have the best advice megan xxThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
I'm not sure 'find her something really horrible' is the best advice I have ever given:rotfl:
If you are struggling I have uncovered a talent in my friend Claire. She manages to find the most amazing dresses (Or anything you are looking for), just ask and we will set to looking!

ooooo if you could find something you would be my saviour
it has to be royal blue and full length and be able to fit a size 18/20 and a size 4/6 (hence where my problem has been finding a dress that fits the both of them) one is 17 and the other is 20 so needs to be age appropriate (not an old ladies dress as my SIL put it)
it is brill advice lol cant wait to see her face when i pull out a potato sack HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50 -
Ok, I will see if anyone can come up with anything. Would you mind if they were in the same colour but different designs? I only ask because clearly they are so different in size that what suits a wee skinny minny doesn't necessarily suit a more voluptous beauty.

yeh as long as the colour is royal blue (with silver but okay if not) i would quite like them to be the same 'theme' so if one is strapless the other is as well
i know im being a pain xxThe only people I have to answer to are my beautiful babies aged 8 and 50
