No, me choosing not to invite kids is a decision based on the number of people I can have at my venue and the general kind of day I want. I love kids, I am a mother myself. If my friend with young kids said she couldn't come due to that then I'd respect her decision as she respects mine. As it is she's more than happy for a grown up child-free day. I'm not making any judgement against the children or their parents, just a decision on who I will and won't invite.
You, in saying I'm stuck up for taking that decision, are making a judgement on me when you have no idea of who I am and why I'd make that choice
Now why don't you go play somewhere else and let people using this forum do so in the way it's meant, especially this thread that you've hijacked. It's about bridezilla moments - not slagging off other people you know nothing about0 -
This is for brides/grooms to admit the crazy things planning a wedding makes us feel/say/do NOT to be judged! Go somewhere else if you don't like it!Turning our clutter to top up our house deposit: £3000/£303.05 we're on our way!0

I'm a Bridezilla and my confession is...
I WANT BLACK TIE AND COCKTAIL DRESSES. I want everyone to be pretty and not like they're going to court (IYSWIM) or an interview.
But apparently I'm not allowed to say this. Because it would put people to "extra expense" coming to our wedding. Well, most men I know (including my aged uncle!) have a DJ hiding in the back of the wardrobe, most of the ladies would be buying a new dress anyway - and if they don't have a DJ then it's less than £50 (£38 at Moss Bros) to hire one.
AAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh EEEEEEEK Grrrrr *explodes*
Think that would be fantastic...Look Brilliant. OH and I went to a wedding like this many years ago - and everyone looked amazing. The bride being in white and most others in black or dark colour - the effect in pics was stunning. Go for what you want - it's your day.0 -

Haha!! I'm 2 and a bit weeks away and only NOW she's telling me that she might not be able to come as she can't afford the hotel that I told her about weeks ago and seeing as she threw herself on me to be bridesmaid when OH and I got engaged (I didn't want her to be but I didn't really have much choice!) she's peeving me off!!Sealed Pot Challenge Member 1216 -
