ok i no im being selfish but i wish people (not those on here cos you are all wonderful) would be just a bit happier for me when i tell them i'm getting married all i seem to get is oo thats a big step isnt it or o but arent you a bit young

no i am not young no its not a big step i have 2 kids with the guy and he has been my best friend since i was 13 im pretty sure im making the right choice so be nice to me or dont get an invite!!!!!!

and everybody at work is being lovely but trying to force all works stuff on me (we hire out bouncy castles and other kids play equipment) but i dont want it i want them to be there and enjoy the day not to work (bouncy castle in the wedding dress does sound like a good picture opportunity tho lol)

Argh sitting tonight trying to get our guest list sorted and Im considering putting a note on my save the dates saying only children born up till now are coming, so many friends are trying to get pregnant, I could end up with 10 more people. And in the same respect if your single now you'll be single at the wedding, and if your married now you can bloomin well stay married till after the wedding. How on earth am I supposed to get organised when everything keeps changing!lol.
And Ive already started dropping hints that people had best not even consider wearing black or white on my day! Blacks for a funeral and whites for the bride!!

Hehe your post really made me chuckle! Have to say I feel the same. How is a bride supposed to sort out guest lists if things keep changing like that!!

Agree on the black and white... my friend turned up to my wedding wearing a white floaty dress.... and she caught the bouquet...................

I also agree on the guests. When one of my friends split with her long term boyf before the wedding. My response to OH was well cant they just pretend to be together for the wedding.... he helped me from my BZ moment x

Oh, where do I start.....

I am Mandi, and I am the queen of bridezillas!!

I am not happy that the majority of our guest list is OH's family and friends. (Not his fault he has a big family but still!)
I shouted at him when he said my aunt and uncle couldn't come to the ceremony because there are too many of them in total with the kids. I won.
I wish his parents would stay out of it! It's nothing to do with them!
I wish I didn't have to have his sister there, because she always has to be centre of attention, and it's MY day.
I must start saying our day not my day.
I am driving OH mad with planning.
I have made all the decisions, just let him think that he has helped.
If I'm not getting my own way, I sulk, or cry and then he gives in to make me happy!
If OH leaves me on my own to go off and get drunk with his friends, then I will rip his balls of and shove them down his throat! haha!
If anyone starts fighting, causing trouble, annoys me etc I will have my brother kick them out for me!
If my brother does any of the above, I will kick him out myself!
OH's nan will def complain about the venue, ceremony, food, dj, everything. She did at my sons christening.

I still have 13 months til my wedding! This is just the start of the bridezillaness! Fun fun! x
