I just mean about being told we could renew on main line and now it turns out we shouldn't have. This seems to be causing the main problems. Have they said exactly what they want could you just send your most recent reciept to prove it.0

Yes same could send p60 but not wage slips so i'm a bit stuck and i wrote to my childcare provider today but i dont know when or if they will provide copys for the whole year. If ive got to 31st july to renew why do i have basicaly 1 month to send these. I wish i never rang to renew i should of left it til july and then renewed mayb i wouldnt be in this mess
I am sure P60 would be sufficient so I wouldn't worry about that - if my childcare provider won't give copies of receipts or at least confirm that I have had childcare and paid then I am sure they will stop the credits so I hope it doesn't come to that.:(0 -

I am still waiting to hear exactly what they want from me - trying to get them to tell me is proving difficult !0 -
Yeah like you said maybe a letter from your childcare provider with their rates per day/hour and the days your children go and how long they have been going will be enough.0

Yes they want me to send wage slips and proof of childcare for the whole of last year by 2nd june. I dont know what to do as i dont keep receipts n wage slips ive got some lieing around but not for the whole year. Hope they dont stop provisional payments on that day as i' goin to have to write to works head office see if they wil provide copys and same with childcare.
After renewing, I have too received a letter requesting my P60, childcare receipts for whole of last year and my contract with child care provider. My P60 hasn't arrived yet, I renewed with the income details from my month 12 payslip and I have had to contact my son's child care provider to request the other information as I don't have receipts or a contract. My son attends a breakfast and afterschool club while I work. Need this like a hole in the head, I have only just come out of hospital on Wednesday this week! I will have to chase the childcare provider again next week as I only have until the 31st May to get this information sent to them. It would be so much easier if the tax credits people obtained this information themselves - afterall they have the facilities in which to do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seems like we are doing their jobs for them AND they have not even had the decency to enclose a pre-paid envelope to enable me to return the required documents!!!!!!!!0 -
Just a thought. If child care provider does not provide details people are requesting surely we could just give the child care provider details to the tax credits officer and let them chase this information directly! Hope all the child care providers have been declaring everything!!! Would have thought all their information would be with accountants at this time of the year for the end of year accounts??????0

I have nothing to hide, but they made me confirm that if I was telling porkies I would be fined 3K....At the end of the call she advised it had been processed and I will get my reward through the post. Not had anything as yet, nor have my payments changed, but this only happend on Wendesday.
Did they advise your claim had been processed at the end of the call?
TBO I can't remember as I had a lot of questions I wanted answered and I was bewildered by the fact the lady couldn't help and told me to ring the normal line (thought that was the whole point of the letter). Just seemed like she wanted me to swear to telling the truth about the details I had given over the phone and that was her only interest.
Reading this forum it sounds like it could be down to so many reporting of changes. We moved two years ago and my partner has had a few job changes, plus an awkward employer who would not issue him with a P45 so we had to get the tax man to chase them to be certain of how much my partner earned in 2008/2009. Told all this to T.C.O. at the time but perhaps they're just checknig the facts. Anyhow, got nothing to hide but hope all goes smoothly cos I need my award notice to send off for my son,s EMA grant. Good luck with yours0 -
I dont have my p60 yet and dont tend to keep wage slips, i also dnt hav a contract with childcare provider (wel not that i knw of) and i dnt keep receipts as i was never asked to. I really dont knw what i'm goin to do because if they stop my payments in june i wnt b able to go to work. I thought we had to renew by 31st july not may or june and all this specialist team helping us what a load of crap. We should all complain to head office, i feel like a criminal the way we are being treatedJust a thought.
