Hi! I have been reading this for weeks now. I need to renew through specialist team too. I am worried sick as I have under estimated my income for 2009/2010 by £3.5k. Everything else is fine, I told them about changes as soon as it happened. Has anyone else been in the same situation, what has happened?
mine was also under estimated by £3.8k due to overtime and bonus. I renewed through speceilist team 30th april received my new payments on Monday. £40 a week down so assuming there must have been an over payment. Still waiting for paperwork though!

I am getting really confused now! I have started my SMP as of 01/04/10, so this will be really for this tax year. I phoned and this really nice lady worked out my income for me (something to do with £100 to be taken off per week). My income is very, very little, mainly SMP for this year.0

I went on SMP from September so when I renewed I had to deduct £1600 off my taxable earnings. That is why I said depending on when you went on SMP it might not be as high £3500, but as you went on it so late into the last financial year unfortunately there is not much to deduct from your earnings for the last financial year.:(Mortgage Feb 2015 £178,500 END 2043!!
MFW 2015 £100 /£1000

yeah sorry i under estimatedEmmaan - i think maybe whamfanuk has mis-read your post as well ?
I think they also think that you have UNDER estimated your income ?
Whamfanuk from what i can gather has been the same as myself a and has had an UNDERPAYMENT from tax credits this year and thats why they have received a lumpsum AND increased payments?

hi,did your awards come in a smaller brown envelope than last years? both of them for last years final award and this years 2010/2011 thanks0 -
Well, I just have to hope that i will be given more time to pay it back, as we are going to be on very low income this year..... Anyone was able to do that?0

After calling the TC office and giving them my figures for last years earnings 3 weeks ago, I didnt hear anything at all.
So I phoned them yesterday and they advised me to call the specialist team and she gave me then number. So I phoned them and they ran through everything with them...All good and she said it had been processed.
How long until I get any sort of award notice?? Hopefully early next week I am hoping0
