Thank you so much for all the comments. I worked everything out so i had all the yearly amounts. I tryed to ring specialist line again today 38 calls over 2 hours and still engaged so i rang main help line and asked what i should do as i wanted to get it over and done with. She asked me 2 password then usual name, address ect, she then said she just needed to check my claim then put me on hold. Couple of mins later said she can fully process it now so i asked if that would be ok and it wouldnt mess things up she then said it was totaly fine she had checked through my claim everything is correct and had spoken to supervisor who had agreed. So i gave her my income details agreed that nothing had changed and she processed it. Then said thats all gone through fine and i wil receive a few award notices in the couple of week. Has any1 else renewed this way and how long did it take to receive your payments??
Hi Witter.
I did mine this way. Last Monday I did it. Nothing has been processed on mine yet. I checked yesterday and nothing has been finalised yet. No extra payments no nothing0 -
Hiya angle 1978 thanks for your reply. Did they give you a number to call to check if it was sorted? she told me to call a different number to check if had been done and told me to call tuesday and they should b able to give me new payment details for this year0

I've had nothing Witter. No letter from the Specialist Team, no nothing.
Yet I was told by an agent yesterday that they wanted more information from me but refused to put me through or give me their number saying they would be in touch with me!!!
Frustrating! :mad:0 -

Well he just said they 'may' need more information or they 'may' not. He couldn't say. He was really vague. I'd spoken to 3 advisers last week and he was the first that mentioned anything like this. Totally confusing.
But yes, thank god i'm still getting my weekly payments. I'd really be in trouble if I weren't!
Also - he said there wasn't a time scale on sorting this out. Just said as and when. So I have no idea how long this is going to go on for and I'm supposed to just sit here and wait!0 -

Hello
We rang the Specialist Team earlier this week, got through straight away and they just checked our details - claimants, children and earnings. It took about 5 minutes and was no different from when we have called the usual number in previous years.0 -

I renewed this way - last Monday (26th) by Friday 30th I had had an extra payment go into my account. My payment dates are usually a Wednesday. Not received my award notice yet, just assume they are on route.0 -

Easier said than done, I know, but I would try n not to worry too much. I think some of these helpline advisers "get off" making people worry. There is no consistency with what they are telling people. I look at it this way, if they thought something was not right they would not continue to pay you - that is the first thing they would stop. I keep reading all these blogs and then worry myself and keep thinkin what if my case isn't finalised, what if they think something is wrong with it. I just wish my award notices would hurry so I can put the matter to "bed". I was told when I renewed I may get an award notice or I may not - when I questioned this I was told I may get a letter requesting more information. I phoned back and spoke to someone else who told me my renewal had gone through and it was all fine, that it processes overnight etc. I am assuming it has been looked at else why put extra money in my bank???
Hope you get it sorted soon - yal av to let us all know when it is done and dusted.0
