Of course ellasmummy. As soon as I know I shall certainly post and let you guys know. I got my provisional award through this morning and realised I over estimated my earnings last year by 2.5k (I do this every year as being self employed I always say I will earn MORE than I think I will to avoid an over payment). I don't know if this means i'm due some back. Time will tell.

Other than that I think it may take the full 2 weeks this year as Monday is a bank holiday. Mine was sorted within 2 days last year too so i'm a little worried this year but as long as we're all in the same boat I guess it's nothing to worry about!

That was just a letter hun. came in a brown envelope too so you can keep an eye out for it. I'm due a provisional payment tomorrow and have confirmed with them that it is going in so fingers crossed. This is just the temporary payment though. As my new award hasn't been finalised.

i tried loads of times 2 and no answer so i phoned main helpline they took my details and didn't mention a signal or letter or anything just said my details had been updated and awards would be out by 2 weeks. when i checked today the man told me it was on a worklist and had no idea when it would be dealt with!!
  • can all the folks on here PLEASE,, PLEASE check the paperwork when you get it, if you renew by post/normal helpline then your renewal is inhibited, yes you'll get monies. only people who can renew you properly are the new advisors, they didn't send out 400,000 letters for the fun of it!!!!!!!!!!
