yes, get off google and take some deep breaths! The main thing is they have caught it, however annoying it is being in there, though I know it's no consolation. (not meant to be patronising!)

I will pop in and say hi if you end up being there over the weekend, and let me know if there's anything you need getting etc - I am sure you have lots of friends around etc, but the offer's still there! x

right, I've just bought a watermelon (Apparently it does something, worth a shot), I've bought tinned pineapple slices for tonight and tomorrow morning, I'm going to treat OH to a curry tomorrow and he's sorting me out tonight. :D

Going into town later to find some Sage oil stuff. Look at me go :D
I think you are meant to have about the equivalent of 2 fresh pineapples for it to work...! it would certainly give you the special poo if nothing else!

I am actually slowly plodding on with work, given up on the evil document for the day and just doing emails, have cleared 100 so far, inbox was overflowing! *slaps wrists*. Lady has just been for freecycle desk so one more thing gone!

Im amazed how much my stress levels have dropped since i haven't had to actually go into work. I didnt realise how stressed i was until i stopped.

I know exactly what you mean, I've been feeling so run down that I've taken this week off sick and I can't believe the difference in how I feel. I'm dreading going back next week...

I'm starting mat leave on my due date/delivery day and taking 3 weeks leave before then. I'm using the rest of my leave (I bought extra this year as was planning on going on a big holiday...) to just work 3 days a week for the couple of weeks leading up to this. If I end up delivering early I'm told that work will either let me carry over the extra days or pay me for them - am hoping that I won't lose it altogether.

I am hoping to take leave as close to due date as possible. i'll have a few weeks holiday before that, in my work if you are on leave when you deliver mat leave starts the next day and they roll over your leave days so you don't lose entitlment. My leave year starts 2 weeks before i'm due so I have no idea what i will do in reality.

Sir Monster - are you all organised? in my experience of pre e they will try keep you pregnant until 37 weeks if possible, for me they said if bp was coming down with meds and bloods stayed stable then i was staying pregnant, if bloods went funny or bp started to climb again despite meds then it was eviction time

Nene - according to the babycentre website the pineapple must be fresh as bromelain is destroyed by the process of canning or juicing, you also need about 7.

    Hmm.

146 days until I start my maternity leave.

    - Minus 40 weekend days

    - Minus 4 bank holidays

    - Minus my honeymoon 3 days

    - Minus a holiday I've still to take

Leaves 98 days in the office. Or possibly 91 depending on if I take the first week of January off...

Should I be worried that no one has started to be trained to cover me yet?! And before you think that sounds vain, I'm the only person who does my job in the whole company, I use a specialised computer system that no one else in the North West currently uses to do the job that I do...and my boss, who has been here since December, hasn't had any training yet.

Argh. Should I just not care?!

i started 2 weeks annual leave at 36 weeks, I start my official maternity leave at 38 weeks on monday. I plan on haveing 9 months off, so my first week back at work is 16th May, if I don't go back for at least 3 months I'd have to pay back by OMP.

Sir Monster sorry you're having a rough time, hope everything gets better shortly and platelet counts can drop quickly, so as annoying as it is, you might end up having daily bloods taken. If your hospital is like ours, it won't matter what you tick on the menu, they always send up the same portion size.
