Lillian - I have 14 days left at work and still don't know who will be covering some bits of my work! The specialised bit of it! I have suggested various things but no reply from management. It's very disheartening but I'm starting to not care!!
bunny - am almost the same as you, think date to go back is 20 June, but will have 11 bank hols and extra days to take, which will take me to 5 July which is exactly when my contract ends! But I have said I want to go back so if they decide not to renew the contract they have to look to redeploy me and I think they then have to prioritise me because of being on mat leave!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

Sir M hope your out of hosp soon.
I woke up again with a migraine, all dosed up on pain killers now. So hope this goes before I go into labour, don't think I could concentrate with the way my heads been. Starting to feel like my bodys forgot it needs to evict this baby, had no pains/ contractions for days. I don't really feel pregnant bar the big belly! I can see my due date will pass by without a twinge! I knew this baby would be lazy like it's dad!
Hope baby is here soon Kikat. I was convinced dd was going to be late as I didn't have any sign of her coming anytime soon - she arrived bang on her due date.
Sir M - hope you are home soon.0 -
Haha, hilarious. I'm just finding it funny at the moment, especially when my boss and his manager are just sat there chatting away about nothing, I keep thinking "you'll regret wasting that time next year when you don't know what to do!"
I've already decided I'm going to get a PAYG sim card and use that to keep in touch with friends next year so I can keep this phone off...My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

do you use the same phone for work and home then? I am very strict about not doing after I did a job (youth worker) where home and work were too close! I now only give my personal mob to a couple of key leaders of projects I manage and one close colleague. Good thing is that when I'm home i divert my extension to a work mobile too.
I think you'll also find you care less as time goes on!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Well no but it's that kind of company where it's not really frowned upon to ring people's personal mobiles if there's any emergencies. I just worry what they'll deem an emergency! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

My MW called me this morning (I've been chasing for weeks) to say that my bloods taken at booking-in have been lost and asking me to come in to have them re-done.
I'm now 18 weeks and obviously its not ideal not to have the info they would have given by now. The only thing I think maybe time-sensitive is Rhesus status - as don't they start with the first Anti-D around now, if needed?
At least it means I get an extra appointment and hopefully I can asked one or two questions while she is draining my arm again. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -
Hmm, I was hoping that having not heard anything for over a week about my bloods, everything was ok - that's made me think now! I assumed everything was OK with the blood test I had to have when my rabble had a contagious, bad for pregnant women disease, I found out 8 weeks later they never had the results back!:eek:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

LilacPixie wrote: »Sir Monster - are you all organised? in my experience of pre e they will try keep you pregnant until 37 weeks if possible, for me they said if bp was coming down with meds and bloods stayed stable then i was staying pregnant, if bloods went funny or bp started to climb again despite meds then it was eviction time
Thanks lilac, the registrar did mumble something about that this morning re keeping me until 37 weeks but that was without them checking the bloods. Her initial plan was for me to be released but to go twice weekly to fetal assessment unit and ante natal clinic. So looks like I may be queue jumping of some description (although not been told officially):eek: really didn't want an August baby!!
I am relatively organised have clothes, moses basket, car seat and push chair. Also did some washing but nowhere near what I woud like to be . .
Bunny is true re portion sizes ticked medium yesterday and large today but I think it was the same size :rotfl::rotfl:
Thing is getting me stressed is now all the family know I'm in hospital they all have their opinions, rather than just letting me get on with it . . also need to know what is going on re the bloods as getting info here is like a blood out of a stone :mad:Thomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces
