    Hi ladies,

It's been a bit quiet round these parts birth-wise hasn't it! My best friend is getting married on Saturday so I'm hoping to stay put until after that. I'm wondering if it's possible to suddenly run out of iron? I'm suddenly soooooo tired - I've only just had a shower and have done nothing else today! Mind you, I was having BHs all night so didn't get to sleep properly til 5, groan

Got 2 Amazon parcels to post and was gonna bake a cake but not even sure I can be bothered to do that!

Fuzz, I am taking baby wipes as well (though hiding them as my hospital do not approve). My midwife recommended the flat cotton wall pads to use for bum wiping, as in her words 'the fluff from cotton wool can get into all cracks on a boy'.

Dream - dont forget toothpaste / brush, nappy sacks and thick socks (tip from PP - as you can get really cold feet)

DH is early August, was always top of the class, has a good degree from Oxford and was top in the whole world in his accountancy exams! Obviously he's bright but he thinks that he would've been frustrated if he was a september babe!

My dad should have arrived in London, but hasn't phoned me! No doubt he'll leave it til he's in croydon and I'll have to rush to meet him!

fuzz - I think smartie is taking wipes too. I just don't really like wipes, though I will obviously use sometimes...I just find they sting my bum never mind a babies and they're so unsustainable!

Thank god for that:) I just don't fancy the cotton ball thing..I remember doing it on my sisters 2 and it was a faff, we have no history of sensitive skin so I think we'll be fine:)
But so convenient Rach ;) sorry but I'm no earth mother! Are you going to be making your own?? or just not bothering?

Ooo Dream, socks...get some 'tote' socks with the sticky bits on the bottom...saves you having to take slippers as well as socks;):)

Fuzz I'm also taking wipes, I know some hosps are a bit funny about using these on newborns so I've packed some that are supposed to be as gentle as water.

I've still got this damn headache :( cannot shake it off. It's affecting the whole right side of my head, my nose eyes and teeth :( just feel like smashing it against something .( no twinges, no pains, no BH, nothing! Maybe I'm just fat not pregnant!

I know, and I'm sure I'll use them when out and about. I'm no earth mother really either! To be honest it's the cost as much as anything, my sister in law goes through packets each week, she seems to use them for everything! And i think they would block our loo as plumbing isn't great. I have bought some nice washable ones and presuming the washable nappies work out I will just chuck them in the washer with them.

DH can't understand why baby can't just be hosed down :rotfl::rotfl:

She chucks them down the loo?!?! I hope they're designed for that!
I'm mixing with washable ones too, but for the 1st few weeks its convenience all the way for me:D:D

So annoyed! Just finished all the surveys showing on my onepoll a/c and guess what..........they're all done and all I need is 0.05p to get my £40 payout:mad::mad::mad: Watch them not give me anymore surveys for like 3 months!
