You might find he'll sleep in more when it's dark in the mornings CAFC, I know it made a big difference with DD1.
Now the twins have a deep blue duvet cover over their net curtain behind their (paper thin) normal curtains, they go to sleep earlier and wake up laterMum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

OH has been great this weekend (!) and done lots of washing/ cooking/ cleaning, he even cleaned the stinking hamster out! He's not up yet but I'm not bothered as he's been busy and getting stuff ready for the baby
he's putting up the mobile today
I've just cleaned out the washing machine and washed the drawer out. I hope this cleaning bug stays with me this is the cleanest our house has ever been since moving in!0 -

Morning ladies, sneaked on my mum's laptop before we go out for the day. Sorry to hear ladies had a rubbish nights sleep as I did too . . Woke up at about 4:30 with really bad back pain and strong period type cramps/pains. Took a couple of paracetamol and had to get up and watch tv. It eased off after an hour (also after scoffed 2 slices of toast as really hungry!!), not sure if that is to do with paracetamol or just eased off . . Anyway was wondering is this strong B/H as normally seems just to be tightenings, hoping isn't start of something as just turned 34 weeks today and so not ready yet!
Enjoy your days and hope something happens with KK and Xmas soonThomas born 28/08/2010 weighing 5lbs and 4ounces, small but perfectly formed :j:j Now weighs 19lbs and 5 ounces

My nan says you can get blackout linings which just fit into the curtain tape, I'll ask her where you get them from because I've forgotten!
I've just been using the blue duvet cover quite happily tbh and it was free, someone gave it to me :money:
The twins have silly disney curtains and they don't keep any light out! I was going to get a blind until my nan pointed out that they'd either destroy it or strangle themselves on the pulls, so it's the old fashioned way for me until I can get the linings. :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

How is everyone?
My sleep has been a nightmare recently too, generally i wake about 4am to got to the loo, (something that never happened with DS1 & DS2) then i'm up and down randomly with leg cramps, meanwhile OH sleeps oblivious to the drama going on around him lol
Used my clubcard vouchers at tesco yesterday fab! got £70 worth of stuff for £5. Avent steam sterliser electric reduced to £20 cheapest I've seen it since my 12 wk scan, 2 moses basket sheets, 4 avent bottles (half price), tomee tippee flask, wipes, new toaster, school trousers. Used 2 baby and toddler vouchers too which took off another £3
OH defo thinks we have enough wipes now (20 odd pks)
Today I willl mainly be doing nothing hopefully, although the dreaded food shop is required...

Xmas I would recommend curtains or doing what Delain recommends. My OH fitted a blackout blind in the babys room but shortly after when he was working he did a house call and the lady told him her toddler had recently died from being strangled by the hanging fittings. This has worried me to death but we are keeping the blind up until bubs is mobile and then we'll decide what to do.0

Now you've got me worried, I have blinds all over the house, including the baby's room... perhaps I'll need to be taking them down...0
