When does midwife start giving you guestimations of weight?? She's not mentioned anything to me yet(other than saying I was perfect:A) next appointment is on Monday when I'll be 28 weeks. Going off mine & DHs birth weights we're expecting a 6lber which is fine by me:)

grrr husbands! We do not have a sofa right now as we threw it out as it was a broken double futon. Tonight one comes up on freecycle nearly new and bought in error really as too big for the space they have in the house. But can hubby be bothered to collect it - no!!

So we still have no sofa and instead of having one for free we will now have to spend £180 when he gets paid to get one. I know £180 is not a lot but if we could get a free one instead??

I even said if he didn't like it when we got the free one we could just pass it on again via freecycle but no..... :mad:

Anyhow, usual story with me, lots of BH's and very uncomfortable - 33 weeks pregnant on Monday - not going to get to full term again with this one.

Congrats to any new arrivals and labour wishes to those wanting them

Don you will never figure out mens logic so dont even try lol.

Right ive just had my third RLT so im off to bed gonna down my pile of tablets that i have to take each day now plus i have an extra two tonight as with the pains i thought i had better start taking my Arnica just incase Oh yeah and i have to insert the dreaded Epo.

Still getting the pains although they dont feel quite so painfull now but do seem to be getting into a pattern. I'm pretty sure some of my plug came away earlier too but it wasnt much and there was no bloody streaks just very gloopy white stuff i could stretch between my fingers sorry if that TMI :-)

xmaslolly- hope things are happening for you, im due a couple of days before you and just want this baby out now!
started feeling so yucky past couple of days and my hair has got so greasy! stomach does feel a lot tighter though and im sure last night i could feel baby way down!
got checkup on tuesday so hopefully it will be good news.

Well everything stopped at about midnight and nothing since. I have a feeling this going to keep happening for days though as bubs did the same thing. My plug deffinately came away there was more gunk this morning. Ive got to go to tesco later for birthday cards for the OH its tomorrow i almost forgot good job i got his presents weeks ago :-)

The same keeps happening to me Xmas, I had pains until 2am then nothing! I went to sleep as MW keeps saying how important rest is and when I wake up I feel so disappointed wish I hadn't gone to sleep. I've been awake since 6am feeling very sick, think it's just as I'm fed up. I think my plugs been coming away, as I have no experience of this I'm not sure but I seem to have (sorry if TMI for 7am!) bits of gooey stuff come out when I go to loo.

I have the consultant appointment tomorrow at the local hospital. Bit of a pointless one probably unless the gestational diabetes doesn't come back this time, fingers crossed. Last time I saw the local consultant I couldn't understand anything he said he spoke so fast and had some kind of european accent but I think it was basically we'll see what happens at the 28 week GTT which I suppose will be the same this time. Why bother with an appointment before then really seems a bit of a waste of time. At least its early so I can get it out the way and still do something.

Kitkat you must be feeling it right now you have been like this for while havent you just try and stay positive at least something is happening and every contraction helps.

At least you were on the toilet i had to clean my sheets it came out whilst doing the EPO thing but at least i got to examine it and its deffo not just discharge its to thick and stretchy. God that sounds so vulgar for this time in the morning lol.

I need to keep moving today see if i get things going think OH would be well chuffed with his B'day present if she arrives tomorrow (although i doubt it will happen but one can live in hope) ;-) x
