    Morning all!

Xmas I re-use my P pots, my MW insists on it! I'm not bothered about it, the only problem I had last appt when it leaked as the seal had gone (they're not designed to have a long life!) but I just got a new one then so I've only used 2 :) how green am I :D lol

OH is still snoring in bed :) so I'm just doing some house work, might go see my mum later she keeps hinting but I don't like travelling too far from home atm.

MLSL: how are things going for you, any more twinges?

I hate re using them! But if you don't take it with you she makes you go pee on a cardboard stick and bring it back and you have to walk past the waiting room to do this :eek::eek:

i have new ones, I have to admit, don't get them off my midwife though, it's a "perk" from my job. I know urine's sterile etc, but still it's just one of those things for me.

    Midwife in 3 weeks (26 Aug) @ 9 weeks.

What to expect? OH is nervous as to be expected. I'm sure it was different years ago. I seem to recall loads of questions about family histories, health and similar things.

Nothing to be nervous about, it's just questions on health and history as xmas has said, but they will also take the blood for the blood tests, and its about 4-5 vials. So if your partner is squeamish or doesn't like needles you may want to be with her, although fat lot of good my oh was....he had to leave the room-can't cope with needles.

Although at one stage this morning I couldn't feel the head in my ribs but I'm pretty sure it's back there now. Period type pains are getting more and more often as well.

Really? You were joking??:p:D:rotfl::rotfl: I knew you were you muppet:p:D Hope nursery is finished soon x
Which reminds me Ladies & gents just a quick question but do you recycle your P pots? I ask as i always have i wash it out and use it for the next appointment but there is a women who always seems to be booked in the same week i go for my antenatal and she always asks for a new one and throws the used one out, it seems so wasteful to me. Am i making some big hygeine Faux Pas!!
We're supposed to recycle ours but I wasn't told this until my 3rd midwife appointment! and this time I'm gonna have to go pick one up from the docs coz the doctor nicked it off me on Monday coz I was all prepared and went with my pee sample..he was very impressed:A:rotfl:

For those with clicking bumps....it can be a symptom of SPD so could explain Courgettes clicking...not sure if you others are suffering with SPD too *shruggy smiley*

Much happier today:j Only had 1 toilet visit and that was at a respectable 4am so managed to get plenty of sleep:T although DH did still threaten to sleep in the spare bed but that was due to the vile smell escaping from my posterior:o:p:D:rotfl: Had me in fits for about an hour which really didn't help to stop the stenchsmiley-laughing001.gifsmiley-laughing001.gifsmiley-laughing001.gif

  • Hello all

Have had a nice few days with my mum and 4yr old nephew, have so many clothes to sort through that were my nephews in small baby, newborn and 0-3mths - literally an outfit for every day I think all washed and ironed by my mum some had never been worn had tags on but she washed the lot as had been in her loft since my nephew outgrew them - once my baby outgrows them will be packed back up in mums loft for next boy that comes along and then they will give me the 3-6, 6-9mth stuff as so much of it dont have room to store it all.

Nephew decided he wasnt talking to me for prob first 24hrs they were here he is mega shy and hadnt seen him for xmas, even sweets didnt make him talk, he did in the end and couldnt shut him up then.

Did lots of shopping and also went to the city farm which was nice, but am knackered today. In-laws arriving tommorow afternoon for weekend - oh what a joy that will be.

My mum kindly cleaned the bathroom before she left and stripped the beds and put washing on so have just hung on line.

    Congratulations to Pigpen .

What is wrong with my OH he is still in blimmin bed! Grr! I've dusted and hoovered the living room, even moved the furniture around and demolished the sofas and hoovered them all over.

Rach: I hope you get your work back.

Fuzz: lol at your OH threatening to sleep in other room!
