Facinating about the clicking babies ive never had one do that :-)

I had geriatric hands last pregnancy i would wake up in the morning and not be able to move them they would be so stiff would be fine after about 1/2hr and wouldnt bother me again until the next morning i seem to have gotten away with it this time thankfully :-)

Well i had a good nights sleep for the first time in a week bubs slept through yay he was doing for ages before but then he got this head cold and has slept properly since hppefully this is the breakthrough and he will go back to his old sleeping pattern again now :-)

OMG. I realised that before I went to work I needed to grab some files off the back up drive as I am taking a service on Sunday. Aaarrggghhhh...DH has obviously recently backed it up but has overwritten all my old files from when this was my work pc in my old job with my recent 'my docs' on it. We never bothered reloading all my old files onto the pc as they were just there if I needed them. But they've gone...this includes 5.5 years of youthwork stuff and services I led plus what there was of my unfinished phd!!!! I hope he can somehow retrieve them. I'm meant to be taking a service on sunday and will now have to start from scratch!

Midwife in 3 weeks (26 Aug) @ 9 weeks.

What to expect? OH is nervous as to be expected. I'm sure it was different years ago. I seem to recall loads of questions about family histories, health and similar things.

hoping for a lie in this morning, spent all night going to the toilet and swapping which side I sleep on, because my lower back was hurting , then next door decide to get someone in strimming and mowing their lawn, I hope they don't sell the house before this baby is born.
I wasn't the only one annoyed by the noise, the cat who was also asleep didn't look impressed.

Motm you may find it a bit boring to be honest if its the booking in appointment tell your OH not to be nervous, they fill in all the paper work, take bood pressure, weight and height and check the urine. There will be lots of questions about medical history for your OH and a couple about family history of diabeties and such like. You may be lucky and they will have a feel about of your OH's tummy but i think its rare that they bother now unless you mention any problems. They will ask which hospital you want to be registered with and will put a request in for your first scan date which you may get given the date there and then or it will be sent through the post to you.

At least thats how it works here anyways and i think they are all much of a muchness these days.


Which reminds me Ladies & gents just a quick question but do you recycle your P pots? I ask as i always have i wash it out and use it for the next appointment but there is a women who always seems to be booked in the same week i go for my antenatal and she always asks for a new one and throws the used one out, it seems so wasteful to me. Am i making some big hygeine Faux Pas!!

Awww thanks ladies, was telling my work colleague about it this morning and we were laughing about it and how I used my 'condition', he said good on me. Haven't had an emotional moment like that since I cried early on (poss about 10 wks) when I missed the bus!!!

Morning all!

Xmas I re-use my P pots, my MW insists on it! I'm not bothered about it, the only problem I had last appt when it leaked as the seal had gone (they're not designed to have a long life!) but I just got a new one then so I've only used 2 how green am I lol

OH is still snoring in bed so I'm just doing some house work, might go see my mum later she keeps hinting but I don't like travelling too far from home atm.

MLSL: how are things going for you, any more twinges?

Went to the North Devon show yesterday. Had two bags of Candy Floss loooooove candy floss. DD decided too that she wanted to lick one of the sheep though which actually suprised the sheep O_o
