My birth pool has arrived :j:j:j And DS has gone to his dad's for a few days :j:j:j:jFinished the nursery, looks so cute but randomly I didn't have an emotional breakdown, that makes a change, I obviously just save it for important stuff like whose turn it is to wash up :o Washed baby's clothes now I actually have somewhere to put them, they look soooooooo cute hanging on the washing line.

Totally random question but anyone got any idea at all how much is would cost to get someone out to unblock our outside drain? We've tried doing it ourselves but it's not really shifting. Think next door must be proper mingers cos we've only had a problem since they moved in

    1 toilet visit Fuzz???

    I don't even manage that non-pregnant:o

Talking of wee... *TMI* the last few weeks mines been getting quite smelly but it's sort of got a "baby" type smell. Does that make sense?? Anyone else with strange smelling wee???;):rotfl:Wee was tested yesterday and for once I DO NOT have an infection:j
Nope thnk my wee smells quite normal thank you:p and yes only 1 loo visit! Very impressed with myself:D
Have had a nice few days with my mum and 4yr old nephew, have so many clothes to sort through that were my nephews in small baby, newborn and 0-3mths - literally an outfit for every day I think all washed and ironed by my mum some had never been worn had tags on but she washed the lot as had been in her loft since my nephew outgrew them - once my baby outgrows them will be packed back up in mums loft for next boy that comes along and then they will give me the 3-6, 6-9mth stuff as so much of it dont have room to store it all.

Nephew decided he wasnt talking to me for prob first 24hrs they were here he is mega shy and hadnt seen him for xmas, even sweets didnt make him talk, he did in the end and couldnt shut him up then.

Did lots of shopping and also went to the city farm which was nice, but am knackered today. In-laws arriving tommorow afternoon for weekend - oh what a joy that will be.

My mum kindly cleaned the bathroom before she left and stripped the beds and put washing on so have just hung on line.
sounds busy but nice:) and how lucky are you having all those clothes?:T

What is wrong with my OH he is still in blimmin bed! Grr! I've dusted and hoovered the living room, even moved the furniture around and demolished the sofas and hoovered them all over.

Rach: I hope you get your work back.

Fuzz: lol at your OH threatening to sleep in other room!
:rotfl:was hilarious... but he didn't seem to think so:p Go hoover the bedroom, preferably your OHs side, as thats OBVIOUSLY going to be worse than your side:D Or if you don't want a grumpy git for the rest of the day......make him a brew and threaten to throw it over him if he doesn't get up in the next 10mins...usually works for me;):D

Delain...how long did it take to hit your a/c??? Hope you win the bed:) x

I've noticed a clicking almost like knuckles cracking for the past two weeks someone said it could be bubs farting how strange

MLSL - i have been clicking since 22 weeks and it has turned out to be SPD that has got worses and worse until at 30 weeks i had to use crutches to walk.
Was it when you moved? or were you still?

I have severe SPD too (although randomly seems to have got better since about 36 weeks :D) and this random clicking and the clicking is deffo nothing to do with the SPD, it's a different sound and coming from a different place and also doesn't hurt.

    It's a mystery, who knows.

Tinks sorry you're feeling rubbish. Not sure about the ex's wedding though, we went to my hubby's ex's wedding last year which sounds very odd as I couldn't have imagined inviting an ex to ours (oh, except she came I suppose) and it was really nice. They were together for 5 years but become more like friends in the end and they still are really good friends. It's hard when you're feeling a bit vulnerable though isn't it. Couldn't you decide nearer the time?

Um, thanks for that :p Think it was Smartie or Fuzz talking about wee, I'm far too lady-like for such matters ;)

  • Still here, tmi bowels seem to be clearing out, few niggles this morning but nothing major.

Re clicking seems to be on the evening when I'm sitting down, seems to be coming for middle of bump, doesn't hurt , but my hips have been quite sort, not really pelvis pain just side of hip.

My finger are a bit swollen, when I wake up I have pins and needles, they also sometimes look a bit grey but midwife doesn't seem to be worried as my bp is 110/60 (I think) very average. Feet are a bit swollen if I walk alot.

Re pee I have found that since my pains last weekend I don't have to get up at night to pee, if fact all day I don't feel like peeing but when I do go every few hours I do actually have to pee - baby must have moved but head is not engaged.

Hoping I am going to go this weekend bit it's probably just wishful thinking !!
Busy mum of 3, so if my posts don't make sense or ask a silly question be patient:rotfl:
