and this jacket altough i got his in grey

and i got a 2pack of baby hats for £1.75

also got myself a few more vests as NO clothes fit me. so ive resorted to wearing long vests with cardigans for the next 7 weeks. i cant bear to pay for maternity clothes which il never wear again!

aww fuzz the days of sleeping on our bellies are distant memories :rotfl: although i didnt do it all that often as my boobs were always in the way!!

    MV - great news!

courgette - yay for feeling better and getting the room done!

I had to have one of those internal scans when diagnosed with PCOS as I was too fat they couldn't see properly from the normal scan! It didn't bother me tbh, the probe was v sli.

Been up to neros for a very moneysaving coffee as we had 2 fully stamped cards. New pc came so DH now a happy bunny. Can't seem to persuade him he fancies a curry for dinner though :( it's one of the only meals I actually like eating at present!

    Afternoon all.

Congrats to PP hope everything went smoothly.

Good to have a moan fuzz.

Sounds like the medics are useless where you are smartie!

RE labour ward tours, mine have them on Saturday both Labour ward and birthing centre, should try their in next few weeks.

Absolutely shattered tonight training all day, two days to go is my leaving do tomorrow (well quick drink with my colleagues). Meant to be going to cinema and food but is nearly 6 and DH is still at work so is looking unlikely.

Congratulations Pigpen - that was mighty quick!!

Just a quick update, been back to the hospital today to find out why my liver function tests came back high. Sonographer checked all my internal organs and they are normal and healthly. Apparently the liver thing is a long standing issue that I have, I even had it in a previous pregnancy. Doctor said its nothing to worry about but they become over careful in pregnancy. Its probably because I had my gallbladder out in 1998, she will follow it up at 20 weeks though.

Had a nice suprise though, sonographer had a quick look at baby and it has grown so much in the past 3 week and even had a glance at its bits so I'm about 80% sure on what flavour it is although my OH doesn't want to know so I'm gonna have to stay team yellow for now!!

Had a bargin too, SIL had some reusable nappies which she never used so I am having them off her and she is only charging me a £10 for the nappy bucket and liners etc.

I had the dildo thing as well today and agree with Rach it's not that bad. Just as well as I'll be having it again in 5 weeks time!

I've also been offered a fibronectin test at the same time as part of a clinical trial taking place on progesterone prophylaxis for those at risk of preterm pregnancy.

    Congrats to Pigpen.

I had the achy numb fingers for a couple of weeks, midwife says pregnany can bring on carpal tunnel thing, it normally goes afterwards. Yup another lovely pregnancy sypmtom. mine told me to sleep with hands flat under pillow- which is easier said than done.

Was supposed to get all my nursery furniture yesterday. when i phoned to check delivery time, its now out of stock! i ordered this in May and paid start of July 28 days before delivery like i was meant to. Flaming fuming she says i should get it in next 2 weeks, which will be 2 days before baby due!! Dont know if i can name names but m+p will be getting a nasty letter after it finally gets delivered. So now i have all the clothes i washed ready to put away in a pile and everything else still in boxes. All lady on phone could say was "i know we've let you down"
Really upset i cant get nursery set up, at was really looking forward to this.
Luckily got crib delivered separately so at least baby has somewhere to sleep if it comes early!

Thats awfull service Elaine you dont need stress like that 2 days before your due have you checked if anywhere else has it in stock if so i would cancel the order and buy elsewhere.

Smartie - I found this site which gives options in turning a breech baby. Found it through paranoia that this belly frog does the same as DD, I dont want another section if it can be avoided.

all went ok today, thanks for asking girls :)

when i got to the premature clinic, she had a look at my notes from the op's on my cervix i had last year, and said that in fact the tissue they took was so minimal, i wasn't considered high risk for an incompetent cervix and didn't even have to have the dildo probe! :j

she also quickly scanned me (wasn't expecting that), and i got to see bubs again and heard the heartbeat for the first time..magical!:d

so one more worry off the list..sure there'll be more coming along!

Congrats to piggers..can't wait to see a piccie!
