Fuzz... you're allowed to moan and I know all about the flavour confusion. I was asked yesterday do I know it's a boy as I tend to say he!
Oh and why do people say get all the sleep you can now??? Me n DH are getting pee'd off with it....not like you can store up reserves for later on is it?! Oooo I'm on a roll now:p:rotfl:Ours is also a video tour...and I've never been to that hospital! In laws will be taking us over there when the time comes as dh doesn't drive (well, he has passed his test but hasn't driven since...apparently he can't drive our [it was my] car!)
If he really isn't prepared to try driving your car then I hope for your Inlaws sakes that you go into labour at a reasonable hour:eek::D Ooo and hope you don't make a mess of their car!
See, for me that would just open up a can of worms:o DH has already said to save my sanity we'll be going to hospital in my car so I can gunk it up to my hearts content:D and he'll swap cars later on and return us all home in his(bigger car apparently = safer for baby:))1.11.09 - debt = £45k:eek:

lol fuzz - it's a slightly long story..he never wanted/needed to learn to drive (born and bred in outer london with good transport links), and only did cos I moaned when we were engaged about always having to drive! But then he passed his test (first time) and I was still living far away so he never got to drive, and since we've both been here we hardly use the car (like monthly!) so he's just not had the opportunity to drive. Added to which it is an awful car to drive (w reg polo) and feels like its constantly going to stall, plus his feet get stuck on the pedals...it just hasn't happened! tbh it's fine in laws taking us, it means no paying for parking etc i guess. We basically need to get another car which he is comfortable with, we both hate this car, but as we don't really use it can't justify getting a new one!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Soooo.... back from Midwife, she did indeed have HIP form, which is signed in my sticky paws, about to send off.
Any ideas how long it takes?
Her words upon handling the bump "good God he is big for dates isn't he........you won't be carrying him to term."
Super. Just what I wanted to hear.
I was vvv overweight when I fell for him......good news is that at 29 weeks I have only put on 9lbs which I think is ok.....with DD 7 years ago I had put on approx 45lbs at this point :eek::eek:0 -

Huge congratulations to Pigpen, hope all went smoothly.:T:T
Labour vibes to Kitkat, and anyone else who wants them.
Hope all went well for your scan MV.
Emsy I think it can be different for everyone but mine was in my bank after about 10 days.
I know how you feel Confuzzled, I haven't really got much to complain about pregnancy-wise but rubbish sleep from toilet trips and struggling to get comfy isn't the best. And even when baby is here and I'm not getting full nights' sleeps I'll still be grateful for being able to lie how I want in bed and turn over/get up easily!:D
I also now have swollen feet, and the last couple of days I've woken up with stiff/achey fingers. I asked the mw about it today, she said it is a pregnancy thing, I googled it when I got home because I couldn't remember what she called it but everything says carpal tunnel syndrome - I know she didn't say that because I'd have recognised it, instead it was a medical term I've never heard of but I suppose could be the same thing.
All else was well at the mw, as I thought baby has moved so his back is on the left but only just, it is close to being in the middle.
I had today off work to break up the week which I've really needed as I've been tired today - I've decided I'll not taken my normal non-pregnancy energy levels for granted again even though I don't normally have the highest of energy levels! I have next weds off work too then finish on friday so only 6 days left:j:j
Xmas - thanks for your answer about the hypnobirthing, I've done some googling and think I'll download an mp3 version tonight or tomorrow.
Sorry for the long post!0 -

All went ok today, thanks for asking girls
When I got to the Premature Clinic, she had a look at my notes from the op's on my cervix I had last year, and said that in fact the tissue they took was so minimal, I wasn't considered high risk for an incompetent cervix and didn't even have to have the dildo probe! :j
She also quickly scanned me (wasn't expecting that), and I got to see bubs again and heard the heartbeat for the first time..magical!:D
So one more worry off the list..sure there'll be more coming along!
Congrats to Piggers..can't wait to see a piccie!Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Hi ladies
Congrats to Pigpen, glad all went well at the hospital MV and sorry yours are still being carp Smartie. Fuzz, stop moaning woman! Can't even work out what's up!;)
38 weeks tomorrow and I can honestly say these last couple of weeks have been the best bit of the whole pg apart from a couple of weeks in March. The baby feels like it might be a big un but feels also liked it's pushed my pelvis back into place and I haven't had any trouble with the SPD which is brilliant :j Crutches have sat untouched in the back of the car and I've actually lent my wheelchair to my Grandma to take on holiday for the week.
Been nesting like anything and slowly the house is turning into a place I'd like to give birth in. OUtside bin is totally full having only been emptied yesterday and have done two massive charity shop runs in the last couple of days too. Hubby and DS are upstairs decorating baby's room too (about flaming time but that's another story)
