Ah! Think I've finally worked this one out..a babygrow(aka sleepsuit) has long arms and legs and sometimes have feet in and vests go underneath this and come with long or short sleeves but no legs IYSWIM

I'm sure somone will correct me if I'm wrong as well though:p:D

babygros/sleepsuits are the ones with long arms and legs, poppers down front and in crotch area

vests over head and popper under nappy can be long sleeve, short sleeve, no sleeve but dont have legs

Well walked to midwife as husband needed car for work and it is only a 15min walk, couple of small showers on way but was nice walk, posted nephews b'day present for 1st birthday was only pair of jeans and a hungry caterpillar buggy book and cost £2 to post second class!!

Midwife had a student with her doing the appointment, despite me moaning about lower abdo pain, hip pain and back ache my notes read feeling well, no concerns!! Also student did heartbeat check and we heard it fine but very distant she felt baby and said still feels breech actually its lying diaganolly with head at top right and bottom at bottom left (moved last night felt it go and prev was all squidged on my right side), so then midwife does heartbeat as wants it clearer and gets it nice and loud all fine, then she feels and says oohh not sure if breech now or not but is diagnoal but dont know whats head or bottom - so my notes read ceph - which is apparently head down so def not head down.

I think they write what they want - last time I told her bad reflux, she wrote generally feeling well!!

got another app in 2wks will prob be last as will be 36+5 as 2wks after that when she would normally see me I have my pre-!!! for c-section.

treated myself to some choc chip muffins from co-op after.

    Hi all. x

Pigpen - I'm in Leeds also, and with DD had a rather scary birth at LGI, and was thinking of going to Jimmy's this time (early days mind, only 8+4). Just wondered which one you were under and getting the horrendous treatment from?

Really hope you feel better soon. x

Hull.. not that I am actually booked in anywhere at all!.. but I had 2 excellent experiences at LGI.

I had 2 good experiences at Poole but it's been slated on (I think) Bounty. I've been told today by MW that if I am going to Poole I should be able to use their new birthing suite (which has birthing Pools) but I've heard of people being told it's for Poole residents only!

    I'm home already!!:eek::eek::eek::D:D:D

And I don't have to go back until Friday:j:j:j when I'm going to be having a.....

    SCAN!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Obviously not good that they're worried about bean's growth:( BUT I can't help be a little excited about the slight chance that we might see his/her "bits"!;):D It's going to be the consultant doing the scan rather than sonographer so I do feel a little cheeky asking if there's a chance he can have a peek!:o:rotfl:

But fingers crossed everyone that little devil child is ok which is way more important than me being selfish and wanting to know flavour:)

And oh Pigpen... come down on holiday and take advantage of my local healthcare;)!! They were really busy on labour ward because of holiday makers?! I wouldn't like to go on holiday and end up having baby.... but hmmmmmmm - maybe those ladies prefered to have baby here rather than their local hospital!!;):think:

Not sure where I should be posting this as also posted on under 12 weeks pregnant thread...

Okay, we've maybe jumped the gun....not about the pregnancy, but maybe the due date. We believe the baby was conceived 3 weeks ago (I know, it's been a long 3 weeks) as we timed it around TOTM etc and she is pregnant as 3 different tests have told us she is.

Now we have literature that says it's not as simple as that. With my current clan, it was just a case of pregnant, go the GP etc and find out how far gone my then partner was, but more thought has gone into this - not meaning to sound so clinical.

So we're a little confused and have an appointment with the GP tomorrow evening, who has no idea why we are going.

Anybody can offer us any thoughts? 3 weeks ago we tried for the baby - will it be 3 weeks or have we jumped the gun a little and where do we go from here?
