    Hi MOTM, another fella! wooo

I can recommend the Haynes baby manual, if you're any good at fixing cars its the same concept and its for all makes and models :D it has sections on common baby illnesses and remedies in the back for when he/she arrives too.

I also need to mention - its best if you point your OH in the right direction for finding all the pregnancy stuff out herself. From experience i can tell you that they HATE it when you come off the computer and think you can tell them everything thats going on. Its best to keep quiet and nod/agree when they discover something on their own, bless them! :)

The bounty website is good for pregnant ladies as is this site. My missus uses the bounty one whilst i annoy all the ladies here.

!!!!!!!! myself about hospital today.... and I don't know why???:o

Should be the same old thing BUT maybe I'm sensing something else is going to happen today... like "we've decided to whip the baby out today!":eek::eek::rotfl:

Things have changed here very recently when it comes to the HV. When I had DS she came round every week to weigh him then when I was ready I had to take him to baby clinic every week to see her.

Now all the HV's from all the local GP surgeries are doing a baby clinic at the surestart centre 1 afternoon a week and they expect you to go around once a month. That sounds good to me;) BUT I do wonder if that's a good idea for those mummies having problems.

I am supposed to get a visit from HV within the next few weeks BUT the 1 at my surgery is leaving so I don't know whats going on.

    Urrrgh I feel sick:(

EDIT: Have they worked out my way of saying naughty words????!!!! Will check later ;)

Another EDIT: It was me being thick!!:rotfl:

Yet another EDIT: Oooo maybe they have!!! Will have to experiment!

Hope everything goes well today Smartie - if you need a cup of tea made afterwards, I can send over a very helpful MIL ;) - she is politely aghast at there only being "teabag tea" here, and spent ages looking for a non-existent teapot!

Just had to order 3 lots of net curtains, personally not my thing but the amount of ppl who keep looking through our windows is getting a joke. We live in middle of no where but I swear our house must be a landmark on a tour guide as there was about 30 people looking through our window yesterday. I was there in my pjs! So nets it is!!!

That's not the way to deal with it. You have to deal with it the way OH dealt with our peeping tom across the road. We're overlooked by a townhouse and when we first moved in the neighbour kept looking in our bedroom window so OH jumped on the bed, got his thing out and started swinging it around....

....Funnily enough he never looked through our window again :D

Chakini... we had tea IN A TEAPOT at the hospital on Sunday!!;):p:rotfl:

It's annoying... they don't want me until late morning! Which means us leaving in the next hour so we can grab a newspaper/mags and grab some food and then probably won't get out til late afternoon/early evening - so that's the whole day gone:(

Well I'm of to hospital today too... I'm going for another scan (2 weeks since the last one) to see if his growth has picked up a bit, they're watching the flow of blood through the umbilical cord (endiastolic flow) as it was a bit high. If they're not satisfied the growth has picked up and the flow has slowed down they'll whip him out today

I have to say, I'm terrified! I've had the steroid injections to strenghthen his lungs, but 34 weeks still seems a bit early!

As much as I'd like this naughty little bean out I'm thinking 33 weeks is way too early:eek:
