    Hi all,
Not posted much as still too scared to believe that we are having a baby! But went for my 20 week scan today and all is looking very well, very restless baby I have though the sonographer had great difficulty measuring anything at all! But we did find out the flavour today too - it's a boy, my hubby is over the moon!!!

I can Xmas, it's happening to me too, hence getting patronised to death at that thing the other day :rotfl: I really wish I had just asked for the red book and left :o

Well the monsters came home with inordinate amounts of stuff today, felt like a packhorse because they were selling ice lollies for the kids, organised by the PTFA so I thought I'd better get one for the twins because they were so excited I thought they would pop and I couldn't say no to two such excited faces :o Fortunately DD1 was OK because her teacher gave her a load of sweets  She also got a certificate only 6 kids in each year group get :j

One of the mums was upset because the kids who do 'extra' bits with one of the TA's got a helium balloon as she thought they were being singled out as 'special'! I did try to explain to her that it's only the parents who have children with balloons that know the connection between the kids but I don't think that helped her.

Personally I'm not the least bit ashamed, I know the twins have issues and I also know that doesn't mean any of the kids are stupid or backward, and that group has done absolute wonders for every child in it, and I love them all the more for their quirks :T

I'm soo glad all the school runs are done with now! I'm not getting up before 8 tomorrow! Probably easier said than done though with little monster playing football with my bladder :rotfl:

ETA: I just felt a couple of really painful bumps down on my pelvis _pale_ I wonder if she's trying to engage?! I hope she's born before the kids go back, everyone made it quite clear today that they expect to have a baby to coo over at the start of term :rotfl:
Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession :o:o

Lol Xmas I bet it does get boring!! Worse part with this roadshow was the talks were held in a tiny room without enough seats, it was also incredibly stuffy!

Quiet on here tonight. Feel bit peed off, I can't bend to cut my toe nails, I tried and it hurt. I hate having to depend on others for stuff like this :(

So, I never had these in my previous two pregnancies [or I certainly don't remember] but how much exactly are they supposed to hurt?

I have this horrid horrid stitch like pain in my left side thats been coming and going all day but sometimes its at the point of taking my breath away!!

Am I just a big fat wimp?

CL - I have bought the TT electric pump - I had a hand held [avent] with DD2 and it was carp!! As she was a "poorly" baby I was able to hire an electric one from the hospital which, although horrrifying to watch was great - dont think the TT will be as good but IMO of little experience its gotta be better than hand held!!

    kitkat - hugs honey xx

Is pigpen off birthing? Hope she's ok.

Tigtag: thanks for the hugs :) this is my 1st pregnancy and I've had terrible ligament stretching pain, like you where the pain takes my breath away. I found it really scary, I kept using heat patches (which made the baby go a bit nuts!) but I wanted to avoid painkillers as I'm allergict to most of them. I can completely symphaphise with you, relax and put your feet up!

I feel in so much pain, my lower back, stomach and ribs. Feel like this baby is pushing me outa my body, it feels so huge. OH has been saying for weeks I'm not big enough but now he reckons I'm v big!

No prob :) I can't wait until this little one is born :D just hope they don't go hideously overdue as I'll be well irritable! I just hate loosing my independence as I feel I have to have my OH close by just incase I can't do stuff! Plus the pain tonight is horrible :(
