    Thanks

Pigpen if I rock back and forth it always seems to leak, but not if I cough. Ive checked my tummy and it does feel different. I cant feel the limbs any more but tummy seems softer and squisher.

What smell do they look for?

If it is my waters does this also mean Icant have a bath in case of infection. Is a shower the same
I hope that my child, looking back on today
    Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

You can still have a bath if your waters have gone, just don't put any bubbles or oils in the water... No jacuzzi baths either...

I posted a few days ago about thinking my waters had gone. Went to hospital to be checked out but she thought I was ok.

Today I have (sorry if tmi) been leaking fluids on and off all day and evening, im having to wear pads and change on a regular basis.

Im sure its not urine as its got a strange smell, almost like sweet babys milky sick - sorry its the nearest thing I could describe it to. Question is do I make a nuisence of myself and risk being made to feel silly or visit maternity unit again.

I am 40+2 days does this sound like my waters have broken, Im not having any contractions but am having braxton hicks.

Morning Jay, Hope all is well and that you have ben sorted out now - either by relaxing at home or going to the maternity unit. x x x hugs x x x

I'm still here and wide awake thanks to an inappropriate text message at 4am! Although it was a nice one! :D my friend who has diabetes and was taken in yesterday morning to be induced. After being told she was 'not favourable' she was induced at 10.30am and had her baby Lexi Violet Lilly Nicholls early hours of this morning weighing a healthy 5lbs 10ozs. :T:T:T:T:T

so surely its my turn next although cant remember what we are on in the pattern now! :eek:and I'd hate to be the one to break it.

Boyfriend told me last night he has taken his paternity leave now because he doesn't think I'll make it to Tuesday! He's only taking a week off! fingers crossed she will put in an appearance soon though. Although that said I did have a sudden onset of the dia woo woo yesterday evening about 7pm. Had been fine all day. Was not nice but had nothing afterwards but sure someone here mentioned its the body preparing itself.

Anyway now that Im up early I need to get my clean on.
Did the bathroom last night before bed
the kitchen is mainly done - need to do a few dishes, take bins out and clean down sides.
Living room needs a good tidy
Hallway - is the dogs room and needs a good scrubbing

Can you tell I have the midwife coming today?? and she's giving me another sweep. So in total that will be 3 sweeps in 5 days. :( not nice although thankfully boyfriend is here today, Ben has been warned he will be sent to his bedroom (my bedroom is half storage room/half bedroom so don't fancy taking her in there to be sweeped! will just stay in living room) and boyfriend announced he has his other son for the weekend last night - um hello due to drop a baby at any time! if he thinks I'm waiting on him hand and foot this weekend they will have a swift sharp shock especially after a sweep!

Hope all is well with mummies and bumps. Will be sure to let you know if anything happens.

I can sympathise with the useless OH. I have never seen Owen do the washing up, he leaves bowls/plates/cans/glasses/bottles everywhere and the pixies pick them up. Don't even think he knows how to work the washing machine let alone get any clothes near it - they are dumped everywhere - he comes in takes his shoes and socks off and leaves them in the middle of the floor and they magically walk to the right places apparently.

Plus the first thing Im met with EVERY night is 'whats for food?' - ok granted he works and Im home now on maternity leave but I still have to run the house, look after Ben, look after him, pay the bills, sort our money, food shop, look after the dog, look after his other son, clean etc ---- apparently its not work though although Ive never seen him do it!

plus you would think they'd get better or at least help in some way when your pregnant but no.

Hugs sammy cant believe your still here fingers crossed this sweep has the desired effect. As for the OH's lad he will have to do for himself this weekend. My ex used to be the same he wouldnt lift a finger total waste of space then he would moan that things never get done my answer to him was if it bothers you that much do it yourself!

Yeah then I get the answer - well I work all day - what do you do?? feel like screaming 'still more than you!' some days :mad:

Boyfriends other son is 9 years old, wont ask for anything unless you offer it, wont do anything for himself and has to be asked about 5/6 times to do anything and that's if he decides to listen - he's an only child at home and spoilt rotten by his grandparents and mother and his diet consists of all the major food groups - takeaway, processed junk and deep fried.:eek::eek: he couldn't tell me where chips came from! :(:(:(

Ben is more independent though but not sure if thats because of my upbringing - parents were in the RAF so brought up with a very disciplined father, rules and was left in the holidays under the care of neighbours at 8/9 years old but with our own independence (oh for ben to have the same freedom I did) so I had to fend for myself to a degree and ben has that head on his shoulders too. He is 6, can make himself a drink, has his own little 'chores' (getting the dogs bowl, puts his toys away before bed, tidying his room) , has basics down (take your plate out, clothes at the washing machine etc). He lives on a diet of fruit, veg and fish. Not too keen on meat though but he's getting better - plus he knows how to bake! lol

Strange how two kids can be so different.
