I can cope with the heat just about during the day its at night its getting me even with nothing on and the fan going i still sweat buckets and i either cant sleep or sleep so heavily i feel really drained in the morning. The temp thing on my fan in the bedroom was registering 27 Degrees last night and this was around 10pm

Pigpen do you have a fan? if so stick a bowl of ice infront of it it will blow slightly cooler air at you which should help a little :-)

pigpen do u have a poundland near u they do those wee handheld fans. they arent brilliant but may help. or you could get into a cool bath, may give you the flu but it'll certainly cool ya down. theres nothing worse than being too hot it actually makes me so angry and agitated

I don't fit in the bath.. it is a tiny roll top thing and my backside is wider than the bath.. I hate the shower too.. I'm an in and out person.

I'm just going to sleep I think.. I'm already grumpy and snarling

hope you cool down a bit pigpen....I just checked the BBC and it's 5 deg warmer here than it is at yours...at least you're not here!

We made it as far as (air conditioned) caffe nero for an iced coffee. Otherwise am just inside lying down with the fan on! Need a bigger fan though as it doesn't do much! I was going to go to a local baby fair this aft but decided not to in the end as couldn't face the bus journey!!

DH is going to the shop for ice creams soon apparently :D
