Hi Guys, thought i'd come on and reintroduce myself. Its been a while-oct 2007, since i was last on this board although it was probably pregnancy club 5 back then
Just found out we're expecting again-baby number 4 eeek. Got a long long way to go, but wishing you all the best of luck through your pregnancies and labour.

Emsy try not to panic as other have said your ex has a cat in hells chance of taking the kids away from you. From what you have said before he was probably tanked up and out for an argument and you were the easy target. :-)

Well i'm getting really fed up now i have always been shall we say very eager in the bedroom department when pregnant and i still am but it doesnt matter what we do or how i'm failing to get the desired effect. Now im fine with this i can live without orgasms for the next 8wks (its the intamacy i love) but its getting OH down i think he feels like he is failing me in some way which he isnt at all its just one of those pregnancy side effects which will go away once its all over. I will try and talk to him about it again tonight and see if i can make him see that it isnt a problem. If not then i'm sorely tempted to fake the odd one so he doesnt get a complex about it. :-(

Dont you just love littlies bubs has thrown his expensive vtec toy across the room and is currently playing with a stick and a pingpong ball he looks like he is trying to play golf lol. I think for xmas i will wrap up some really uninteresting objects (to you and me that is) no doubt he will have hrs of fun with them.

yes we are lucky. Actually very reasonable (only got an entry level model), BiL works at the sony centre so we got a good deal

Welcome Jojo, congrats! Please can you edit the list you posted as the contraction timer has dropped off the bottom (this happens quite regularly!).

I could've done with sleeping in longer this morning but I'll have a snooze later. We are both off all week - will be a mix of relaxing at home and doing holiday type stuff (want to go to a gallery and gastropub in town etc). Today's plan is relaxation though!

does anyone know how you/if it's reliable to try and predict gender by looking at when you ovulated/had sex? My sister and I were joking about it yesterday!

I dont think they are very reliable at all Rach but they are good fun the chinese one got my first two wrong and my last two right so its potluck and i wouldnt go out buying pink or blue based on what it says :-)

lol that's what I thought too! I know there's something relatively scientific about when you had sex in relation to ovulation etc but I don't think it's reliable! I do want a surprise, we just still have no boys names still despite loads of books etc and it's a bit weird to think my sister will have her 20 week scan and find out before I have my baby!

I know it may be TMI but we're in the same boat. We both want to but it either hurts her or she loses the feeling during it (if she feels bubs kick or anything it just puts her straight off it!). Dont fake one at all, as a guy i can honestly say its the one thing that would really upset me. If its not happening its not happening, maybe try a different style of playing and he'll still be grateful of his happy ending :rotfl:

Dont fake orgasms! women are crap at acting and if your fella actually cares about you he will be devastated.

Emsy (((hugs))) to you I have no experience in these situations but can echo what pp and tigtag said.

Rach glad you had a good time away and is nice your sis is 8 weeks pregnant as will mean your bubs aren't too far apart so will bond together which is lovely. I am hoping my SIL has some news re pregnancy soon as we both got pregnant end of Oct last year and were due in July but sadly we both lost our babies (me early on, her nearer to Xmas) and must be hard for her to see me pregnant again. Enjoy your week off too and take it easy.

I'm sitting in the office waiting for my turn for training, which my team never run on time. I must confess of late as I know I'm finishing in about 6 weeks and will be off for a year, motivation to do a lot at work has wained somewhat - does anyone else feel like this??
