You're just too brave!!
I said to DH I need a special treat now!;):D
And it didn't just come off in one pull... it took about 10 seconds of pulling which seemed like 10 mins - in which time I realised what was happening put my hands to me face and started saying "Noooooooooooooo" in slow motion like they do in the films:eek::rotfl:
The nurse was very lucky my "kick anyone who goes near my feet" instinct didn't happen:o:rotfl:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

emsy - I am pretty sure swollen ankles (or cankles) are 'normal' but I would speak to your midwife to make sure. Odeama springs to mind which 'can' be a sign of pre-eclamsia (I might be making that up so please do check with MW
)[
Sorry for the epilogue!!Hugs to all

Thanks, that is what I thought, but i am assuming too early for pre-eclampsia......0 -
Im due on wednesday, and have been having a few niggles after a false start about 3 weekends ago. Today I have been having lots of BH and (sorry tmi) a really watery and clear discharge whenever I have been laying down and then get up. (this has been going on sparadically all day)
My other children were induced so im kinda lost.
Is this something I need to tell my midwife or is this normal at the end of pregnancy.
ThanksI hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.0 -

I think you are right but I would still call The Professionals
(I think that this evenings silly mood may have just made me show my age  (is it wrong that I could still swoon over Doyle?))Im due on wednesday, and have been having a few niggles after a false start about 3 weekends ago. Hi Jay, this isn't something that I have experience but I'm sure someone will have more advise. Could you try calling the MW and asking her?

Emsy.. it is possibly just down to it being so hot.. moreso if you have been standing a lot. Mine are really odd.. I just have my right foot hugely swollen and nothing else is!
Toe nails all clipped and pretty and purple.... it took me 4 attempts.. 2 coats and 2 feet.. but it got done and looks so much better!!
Must do some gardening next visi to the shower.. lol.. just in case.. things are way too scarily close now.. I may HAVE to just panic... though my bags are almost packed and everything is ready.. I need to sort a valve to pump the tyres for the pushchair.. next job!! The silly thing is I've had the pushchair for months and there is a bike shop at the end of the street!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Right... I've had enough... I want this baby out! My back, ribs, belly, feet are all killing, I have terrible heartburn, and need baby cuddles, I can't wait 6 weeks!0

kitkat.. I am sat here complaining about how hard this baby is kicking me at the moment.. I feel like I have feet in my throat and if I look down baby will be smiling and waving at me.. My problem is thogh I am not due for ages I KNOW it will arrive in thenext 2 weeks and I simply do not have time .. I have DS3's induction WEEK at high school so he has to be picked up at the same tiime as the others.. and if baby doesn't arrive 16-18th when the children are at their dads I don't know when I can fit it in.. I have noone else to look after them.. and I am really starting to panic about it. I don't feel anything like ready to have baby yet either.. in fact it seems like the pregnancy has gone so very very fast it hasn't even sunk in yet.. I've been far too busy to acknowledge it I think.. what with the divorce and proms and hospital appointments for the children..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
