Pigpen - not yet! We keep looking at her, saying a name, then going nah. We'll get there, but we just don't want to give her anything that sucks.

Would totally recommend a waterbirth to any ladies considering one. I've no previous experience of giving birth, but it was very nice, and not at all 'surgical' which was my motivation for having one. I had visions of the labour ward being clinical and weird - don't actually know whether they are or not.

    Will add birth story too.

Congratulations Bexta! And Fernlie and Esio and anyone else that I've missed!:j:j:j

    Labour vibes to Sammy.

Kitkat - why don't you sign yourself of work next week and see how you feel at the end of the week, you won't need a doctors note for that.

I visited a friend yesterday who had her baby at 32 weeks and her little girl is teeny bless. She's doing really well though as is mum (she had severe pre-eclampsia). I've been desperate to visit but I had a cold when she was born that lingered ages so had to be patient. I also came away with loads of baby boy clothes as at her 20 week scan she was told it was a boy then had a scan again at 32 weeks ( just days before the emergency birth) to be told it was a girl:eek: She got a lot of the blue clothes swapped but gave me the rest which is really lovely.:)

However its a 2 hour drive to visit in the evening and today I've felt shattered, I've even had 2 naps naughty me:o Oh well housework will just have to wait.

Also had a mini tour of the maternity unit at the hospital yesterday, I've no experience of delivery rooms but it looked nice enough and large. At our hospital they like you to stay 2 hours in the delivery room with skin-to-skin etc then its your choice if you want to go straight home or move to the post-natal ward and can stay there as long as you like - whether that's 2 hours, 6 hours, overnight if you want.

LOL.. sounds like me.. DS3 got his name on the toss of a coin.. :D

    Thank you :o

I will need to keep an eye on you and next verse won't I now?!

I am hardly grounded.. I am starting in a cold sweat at the very mention of a baby now.. and OH almost wet himself in fright when I had a really horrible sharp pain in my side earlier..

I have had a couple of trial runs in the last week which means baby is less than 2 weeks away.. but I knew that already given the past ones.. we are passed the stage I had the 2 younger boys so not too worried about how the baby would do now.. I just want it to be as late as possible because I have noone to look after the other children so need to be home instantly!

Oooooh, Bexta - Congratulations :j:j:j Waterbirth is what I had with DS with a bit of gas and I'll be doing exactly this this time round

Now, if one of you kind ladies could be lovely enough NOT to repost the list with Bexta moved to the given birth part I would be very grateful. Given that Mylittlesisterlola has the same EDD as me, I'll now be 13th  I'm trying really hard not to stress but we still have a lot to do to get the place ready for Munchkin. Hubby NEEDS to get the spare room empty and I'm feeling very worried about this now. With the SPD and being back at work full time I just cannot do it myself, much as I am tempted but my bump has really dropped now and I'll be 37 weeks in 4 weeks time. I want to wash baby's clothes and get sorted!! Bloody men! Rant over :A

I have that worry to Pigpen the older two's dad would have them if he isnt at work but you can guarentee i will go into labour when he is on a night shift and i have nobody at all to have bubs as OH's parents live 60 miles away and although they will come at the drop of a hat it would take a good while for them to get here and if his dad isnt well he isnt able to drive so would be stuck completely. My dad is in his 80's and just couldnt look after a baby. So i can go into labour any time after 7pm when bubs is in bed for the night and i must be all finished by 6am when bubs wakes up and its all got to happen at home. If that plan doesnt work then i will grabbing his bath seat and he will be in the birth pool with me lol :-)

LOL Xmas.. sounds like your plan is as good as mine... I need it to be a weekend so I can ring KH and say.. the children ARE at yours this weekend .. have it for free lol.. He won't be very pleased but i can't leave them home alone... if it is a school day I am stuffed.. KH is at work.. my mother would rather gnaw off her own limbs than look after these.. I think the only person I could possibly ring is DS1.. OH's family are over 100 miles away.. and they are not getting enough notice to get here in time! I couldn't cope..

guess I could always rely on the cats!
