    bedding dried and folded.. :D

3 large items decluttered to my sisters.. so I can now make tracks towards flinging stuff from the landing and my room.. :D.. we will be tidy (-er)

OH washed the babys bedding Friday and Saturday :) it's great seeing it all ready to go! I set up the Moses basket just to see how it would look, that 'please look after me' range from mothercare is soo nice :) shame I gota put it all back into storage! Don't want it getting dusty!

smartie hope you are feeling better soon - I too am struggling to bond with the baby, I don't believe its real still and don't think it's actually going to happen and I think if I didn't keep reading these forums and have the physical symptoms ie a large tummy I'd forget about it. On a plus though I can feel the baby move, just about and only when I'm sat still but have felt it a couple of times today yay.

I also have OH getting our baby stuff out the loft so I can see what we have and start to get organised, hopefully it'll make it feel more real.

I'm putting the bedding on the basket and putting it back in the huge plastic bag it came in.. so when baby arrives I can just pop it out of the bag onto the stand and pop baby in.. easy peasy!

Good plan.. Maybe I shall copy you! It seems a shame to put it away, it does look incredibly cute! Also washed the pumpkin patch sleeping bags, I'm pleased with them as they were very reasonable.

Arghh i'm 20th on the list and if i go as usual i will have this one a few days before my due date so not long left at all. I dont know where this pregnancy has gone its flown by.

I'm with Pigpen on the moses basket (yes i surcome to their cuteness and bought one) ive washed the covers and popped it back into the big plastic bag.

Well i have managed to clear my hall way all the junk has either gone in the skip or been stored out of the way i can even get the buggy under the stairs now. One more unit to build for the lads room then that is finished, daughters room & bathrooms were done the other week so only the living room to move about and the kitchen to deep clean then i'm done apart from the usual mountain of washing that accumulates weekly. When i write it all down like that i feel like i have done quite alot but seeing the mess in the living room and kitchen it looks like there is still loads to get done. i wil get there eventually :-)

Hello all - Sammy, I hate to do this to you - but I barged past you rudely in the list and had my bubba before you!

My very cute baby girl was born at 5.20pm on the 2nd. We had a very quick labour and a waterbirth. I had a couple of puffs of entonox, but it made me feel loopy, so it was basically pain relief free - not something I ever imagined I could do. We came out of hospital today, cos bubs (and me) had a few issues with BFing, it's sorted now, but she zonks out at the nipple, and needs to be tickled/ stroked to keep her awake.

Thanks for that, I asked my doc about a sick note and he said as I am 34 weeks now I have to take my leave early, I am not allowed to go off sick?! I even enquired about these new sick notes where alternative duties/ location/ hours can be recommended but he said no!! I was a bit !!!!!! off tbh as the amount of skivers I see around town who get signed off for any carp reason!! I havent had a day off sick since I was in hospital!

Your GP is WRONG KK - its 36 weeks and the new fit notes have not changed this at all.

You can self cert for 7 days - could you possibly do that until you are 35 weeks and then see a different Dr in your surgery for the 2nd week?

Possibly even your midwife, I'm not sure if they can sign sick notes though!

You consultant can though, when do you see him (or have you already been (sorry!!))

GAH - I want to slot your Dr in the nose :p

Just a little update from me.

I've been very poorly:( Have had to deal with a really crap doctor:mad: On antibiotics again.

Been feeling very down and realise I'm not at all bonding in anyway with bean so we talked about paying for a private scan in the hope it would help me. Not knowing the flavour I'm finding very hard and I'm getting annoyed with people saying "oh it'll be a nice surprise"... I don't like surprises!! Nothing whatsoever against those choosing to be team yellow - much respect;)

Tink... did you have private scan up the road from me??? We WONT be going ahead with one because it turns out the lady who does it has done most my scans at the hospital!!!:rotfl:And you all know how they turned out!
I've decided to just go with the tiny bit of gut feeling I have... and I think it's a boy!:D I'm going to concentrate on thinking that AND WE HAVE A NAME!!!!:j:j:jWe also have 2 girls names just in case;) I now have a little glimmer of smileyness:)

Hugs, labour vibes, feel better vibes etc etc!

HUGE hugs smartie - hope you are feeling better soon.

Is there another screening centre near you with different staff?

    xxx
