they measured her at 12 weeks and said their dates were right, but at 36 weeks she measured as 7lbs6oz they said they may have been wrong earlie on lol Then when she arrived they said that due to the level of vernix(?) they thought she was overdue rather than on time.

Oh well just as long asthis one isnt breech I will be happy :D
I suppose it depends on the skill of the sonographer... 1 of the reasons I wouldn't have extra scans second time round is because the first time they told me that Aimee was right off the charts one week, then had suddenly dropped back into the grey area 2 weeks later, the consultant just brushed it off and said it wasn't very accurate...

You'll have to spend a lot of time on your knees this time round won't ya ;)

Hope everyones ok today. Had my haircut yesterday and I am amazed how much better I feel after it! Also started having a rest when I get in from work so I go straight to bed for an hour and either sleep or read. I have found this has eased the pains I am having. OH has been good, rubbing my back and even painted my finger and toe nails! It's a bit messy but I am happy he's done it! I went to docs fri night to have my BP checked and the doc said I need to start my maternity leave on Monday. I explained that I cannot afford to and he just said I need to put mine and the babys health first. Think I am going to see how I get on at work as the rent/ bills won't get paid if I don't work this month. Hopefully my manager might offer me to work from home or work part time.
You have my sympathies! Hope work can be accomodating!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Do you get company sick pay KK? If so and it is to the value of your wage you could get a sick note from the Dr.

Your employee cannot 'force' you onto mat leave from sick until 36 weeks and that is only if its pregnancy related sickness.

    Hope that helps

I am making up the crib later.. so it is ready for bringing squeaklet home.. seeing as show number 2 turned up yesterday.. I am having a furniture reshuffle today to make more room for the mountains of baby stuff accumulating on the landing and looking at where the new bookcases will live..

I also have loads of the childrens stuff to sort through.. again!!

Thanks for that, I asked my doc about a sick note and he said as I am 34 weeks now I have to take my leave early, I am not allowed to go off sick?! I even enquired about these new sick notes where alternative duties/ location/ hours can be recommended but he said no!! I was a bit !!!!!! off tbh as the amount of skivers I see around town who get signed off for any carp reason!! I havent had a day off sick since I was in hospital!

Just a little update from me.

I've been very poorly:( Have had to deal with a really crap doctor:mad: On antibiotics again.

Been feeling very down and realise I'm not at all bonding in anyway with bean so we talked about paying for a private scan in the hope it would help me. Not knowing the flavour I'm finding very hard and I'm getting annoyed with people saying "oh it'll be a nice surprise"... I don't like surprises!! Nothing whatsoever against those choosing to be team yellow - much respect;)

Tink... did you have private scan up the road from me??? We WONT be going ahead with one because it turns out the lady who does it has done most my scans at the hospital!!!:rotfl:And you all know how they turned out!
I've decided to just go with the tiny bit of gut feeling I have... and I think it's a boy!:D I'm going to concentrate on thinking that AND WE HAVE A NAME!!!!:j:j:jWe also have 2 girls names just in case;) I now have a little glimmer of smileyness:)

Hugs, labour vibes, feel better vibes etc etc!

I think its 6 weeks... however I calculated DD1 based on that and it turned out to be 2 weeks out and she was deliverd by Csection when the Drs thought she was 39+5 but they then said she was more like 42 weeks when they saw her lol. Thats why I was thinking of trying the clearblue thing, but if its no good over 5 weeks theres no point.

In theory my due date is 1st March 2011!

I honestly wouldn't waste your money on them.

I did one at Xmas thinking I was about 4 weeks pregnant and it came up as 5wks+ and that was the only information it gave me. Saw the midwife and told her the clear blue results and from the last known bit fo bleeding I had I worked out I should of been about 6 weeks.

GOt booked for a dating scan 2 weeks later, scanned my belly and that pregnancy test was so far off the mark it was ridiculous

instead of 6 weeks I was actually 16 weeks!!!! so I would trust from your last known period date and wait for a dating scan to be done chick.

    Congratulations on your pregnancy though. x x x x

And YES I'm still here, bump is still here, Ben is full of cold and was out for the count so I didn't get my bumpy road trip. : (

Lol throughout my 1st pregnancy I was basically told that as I wa a big girl (5ft8) and my partner was big (6ft4) that I would definitely have a big baby. But they werent expecting her to be as big as she was, and was kind of glad she had to be a Csection, as I wouldnt have fancied a natural 10lber lol.

Definitely going to try everything in my power to not be breach again even if it means doing another ECV!! I will sleep on my knees if needs be lol.

I am now going to try and locate the EDD list to add myself :D

Sammy have you tried a reflexology session a couple of my mates had them when due and went into labour within 24 hours of having being reflexologised (my own word! lol)
