I'm actually thinking they are wanting to try to dissuade me from going to Leeds.. I've not heard anything from them and I should have done by now.

TNV, sorry I can't offer any help, but it does seem like her behaviour was inappropriate in terms of the questions she was asking. I know lots of ladies on here (myself included) have had issues with depression, so you're definately not alone, and you're certainly not wrong in wanting to move on, and by the sounds of it you have. It is unfair when you get needless reminders of bad periods in your life.
Rach, I started ML at 36 weeks. Would've been nice to squeeze it out a bit longer, but physically I couldn't, as I was on my feet running around after people all day. Your killer commute might be the thing that decides it for you in the end.

Hello all
did aquanatal today only 5 of us (well a 6th lady turned up 1/2 hr into class hardly worth it), ladies were much nicer today felt it was a bit clichey before but suppose people get used to each other. I hate doing stuff in pairs though as like my personal space and dont like touching people I dont know!! Was a good class though.
Off to frankie and benny's for dinner tonight as cant be bothered to cook , actually havent been bothered for few nights really but made a prawn salad last night as that was easy.0 -
TNV you can ask to see another midwife for any reason even if its just that you dont like them clash of personalities type thing.

In theory you can request any midwife, but only 1 works out of my Drs surgery, so how does that work?A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... TNV don't really have any advice, but wanted to send some support. Like others have said the mental health team may just be happy to see that you're doing well and annoyed that time has been wasted.
delain - who did you talk to about SPD? I am wondering if I have it as my hips are so painful after any standing or walking, like 10 minutes and I'm in pain for several hours. Am not meant to see midwife now for another 3 and a bit weeks (she's only there every 2 weeks so my 25 week appt was at 25+6 and my 28 week one isn't til 29+6, though she said I could book in for the fortnight inbetween if I needed to see her). I do feel like some support around them would help.
Friend popped over and stayed for ages, we had a yummy cream tea which I'd bought...so well behind on work but will just be honest tomorrow and put short hours down on my timesheet. To be honest I'm not sure I'd have made it into the office today if I wasn't working from home so I'm not going to feel bad.
DH is on his way home so I am going to wash up and stick some dinner on. m&s falafel, pittas, rice and salad for us tonight - easy peasy!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
Sorry if TMI but I am sat here really scared & upset.
I had had a really really violent upset tummy today that has got worse and more frequent as the day has gone on. I am left with really painful stomach cramps and baby has not moved ALL day. Spoke to the on call MW who said ring labour ward rang them & they won't let me in due to the upset tummy. Which I can understand but where does that leave me..............Sat here stressed right out..:o
Sorry ladiesIf you can think it........it will happen0
