Don't blame you on the internal MERFE, especially as you don't think your high risk. I only had it, as I wanted to support the research and as this is my first and is all new to me, wanted to have as much info as possible.

PP I think I am with you being stroppy, but I think some people are just rude to anyone whether preggers or not. Like yesterday at the pharmacist me and this other chap were waiting at the counter to hand in our scripts, some other lady just walked right past us and went to the lady to hand it in. I said loudly 'we are waiting too'. Some people are in their own bubble but need to be taken out of it! Is like getting a seat on the train/tram/tube etc I think I do look preggers now but even with a badge I still shame people into giving me a seat rather than waiting as will never happen.

Re internals, I think I read in one of my books that they really do any until your due date to check how you are getting on.

lol Smartie i have that exact same t shirt on at the moment it does get the point across well :-)

Yay for Mr Bump t shirt:D
Merfe..hope you get a decent pic with that scan date!! Might end up with one like Smarties:eek::p:D

Oi!!! :p:rotfl:It dawned on me the other day that my due date is the 13th!! Not a Friday though.... I can just see this child coming early on Fri 13th Aug!!!:rotfl:Actually that would be quite cool!:D

With DS I had internals before due date... no idea why. I was 17 and never asked:o I'm going to request no internals unless they're really needed. For example if they want to see how far dilated I am and I know I'm nowhere near ready i'll say no thanks.

Hypnobirthing ladies (xmas and anyone else) how often are you listening to CD?? And when do you find the time to listen in peace?! I would like DH to listen to it, like he's supposed to, BUT he really can't take these things seriously!!

Fuzz, Yeh sounds like yours. My boss lives down the road from me and has offered to bring me in, if I find driving too difficult. I am awaiting HR to decide if I have to leave on EDD, or whether I can still come in after that. Unless I am ill / shattered I want to still go to work, especially as the lads here, will spoil me.
OH works here too, and to get to hospital would have to drive past my house, so either way, he will be able to take me!
Ooo my boss lives round the corner from me too....never occurred to me that I might get too big to drive:o May have to start dropping heavy hints:p:D

Do I assume my question has been missed *sob* or do you lot just not have an opinion on cotton bottoms?!?!:p:D

Ooooo hypnobirthing.....anyone got any links pls:)

Smartie the only time i have is once i am in bed its not ideal at all as i keep falling to sleep listening to it but it does say it still works i have a little personal cd player so i pop it in there and listen to it every night. I did get a bit slack with the relaxation one but i am determined to listen to the birthing one at least once a day until babs comes along.

I have found the personal cd player alot better to use as well as there are lots of little background noises on the disc to help with your visualisation and they just get lost when played on a normal stereo :-)

Lalalalala... cotton bottoms....lalalaa:p Sorry can't help with that!

If you have a search on amazon (for example) there are many books and cds about hypnobirthing.

    I'm using Maggie Howell CD's.

fuzz - I have some cotton bottoms which I got cheap (for a change!) but I don't know if they are any good...only cost a tenner so I thought was worth a try! I think its all personal preference, some people prefer the prefold nappies and others the shaped ones.

    What style are cottom bottoms?

I've got a couple of different ones at the moment, some lollipop fleece ones I got free from the council... Complete pap... Go all out of shape in the wash and the velcro sticks in her belly... A couple of One Life birth to potty ones... Not too bad now she's older and in size 2 wraps but on a newborn they just came too far down her legs... A couple of pop in bamboo all in ones... These are birth to potty too and are fine, fit well and work well... A pile of tots bots rainbows with a nippa fastening, hubby struggles with the fastening a bit but I like buying funky wraps to go over the top... And some Itti Bitti Snap in ones that I adore... They're all soft and velvety and we have funky colours like black and purple and lime green...

I used a nappy and wrap system with DD1 and just went for the same thing second time around but I'm finding all in ones a lot more convenient... Especially the itti bittis because the insides popper in and out so they're a lot less to carry round in the changing bag and they don't fill up the bucket so quick...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
