Oh I could marry you lot :D

Just phoned the head of the Hardship Fund for Doula UK, gave her a brief outline, and I qualify for complete funding for a birth and post natal doula :T:T:T:T:T

All being sorted today with forms etc, I can start choosing my doula, so will be fully supported during and after the birth. Cannot believe it!

Also discussed water birth ( my preferred choice, MW said yes, consultant said no as previous c/sec) and she gave me name of lead MW for area who is responsible for water births in the Kent area, said it was no problem, talk to her and she will get it sorted, and the doula can organise it all as well

    OMG the relief!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, We do talk sense sometimes.. I hope you find someone just lovely!!
Not told weight of bubs at scan either, just measured at docs/mw re how big my bump is!!

Docs saga for me continues as on call doc (very nice!) rang me back and said don't take those drugs, but will have to go again tomorrow morning with another sample. Did any other preggers ladies feel like they should move into the docs, I seem to be going every week at the mo!

I was they told me DS3 was 5-6lb... he weighed 3lb10!!!!!!

And I have been to the docs once with this baby.. to confirm the pg and get a referral to EPU as I was bleeding.

I have had about 17 letters asking me to make appointments.. for iron tablets I cannot take and antibiotics for a urine infection which would mean I'd get thrush.. I'll stick with the symptomless water infection thanks!

Kitkat.. about time!!!.. ask about the healthy start vouchers too.. not a huge amount but will help with the food bill for a bit!..

Leaky boobs.. I have NEVER leaked before the milk came in after the birth.. :D

Wonderful news, all was well at my scan too. My little miracle survived all the heavy bleeding & clots & everything looks perfect for my dates, little heart was beating away a wonderful thing to see :) We are due about the same time! :)
