Fuzz - the only night time job I can think of is....;););)

My friend does care work and does 2 nights a week and earns just as much as she would doing fulltime day work.
Nope not just you:o and yeah OH suggested that profession too..decided I wouldn't want him as my pimp so politely declined:p:rotfl:
    care work......doesn't that need qualifications???

Fuzz - As far as I know my friend doesn't have any qualifiactions in the care work field. I know she gets sent on courses every now and then through work (first aid for example). She really enjoys it :)

Arrghh I hate the heat! I'm not a summer person at the best of times but being 36 weeks pregnant in summer was a silly idea, what was I thinking? :-D

Have got a scan tomorrow to check my placenta, I'm pretty sure it won't be a problem so I'm not worried but I'm dreading waiting around when its so muggy. Do you reckon they will give me an estimate of weight of bubs?

I think I will avoid being pregnant through the summer ever again, unbearable!! When we started TTC we were aiming for a winter baby, but as it took so damn long we ended up with a summer one!! At least we get to take our babies out in the pram in the sun :) dont fancy using it in the rain!

I think they should be able to give you an estimate of baby's weight, I was told the weight on my 20 week scan and I am hoping they will update me on the porker if I have a scan next week (I'll be 34 weeks then)

I got hardly any information at my 20 week scan, apart from the fact that it was 99.9% a girl.It was rather disappointing so I guess I'm not too hopeful of finding out anything tomorrow apart from the fact my placenta has moved but hopefully they will give me a bit of insight tomorrow especially as my nan is coming too.;)

Ymakesmile good luck for tomorrow! The sonographer totally bombarded me and OH with information at our 20 week scan, all these facts and figures and weights!! When the scan was finished she left a screen display on which told us the weight, measurements, etc so it was good. *fingers crossed* you get given information! I am hoping I get a scan next week (its not defo) but I will be asking the weight if I do, as you can normally predict the birth weight roughly by adding abit on (don't quote me on this, I'm no expert!)

Emsy, that's so fantastic about getting a doula!

Ymake, our 20 week was the same, we didn't get any info, other than bubs looked alright.

Fuzz, OH son works in an old folks home, and they're putting him through his NVQ whilst he's working. He's on pretty decent money too, though he does work long shifts.

If you don't want to consider the 'oldest profession', there's things like supermarket shelf stacking and bar work.

Cheers Bex:) nope definitely not going for the oldest profession, besides I wouldn't earn too much with a belly that'll probably end up looking like a roadmap:rotfl:
I like the idea of being a carer:) Also as it's flexible hours so would fit in with fussy old me:o I won't start properly looking til next year but am trying to look into what would suit me and DH:) From what we were working out I'll need to be earning a full-time wage but also reduce childcare as much as poss...don't think I thought this whole having a baby thing through properly:p:rotfl:
Failing that I could try childminding but I don't fancy having other peoples brats traipsing through my house:D

ETA: we didn't get much info at 20wk scan, deffo no nothing about bubs' weight:( all the info we got was coz I asked..think I annoyed her a bit:p:D
