Happy due date Esio. Hope you feel better redmel, I've never had thrush thankfully.

Rach our mortgage is about that for a 3 bed place with a garden, but we are very lucky that we have quite a big deposit as I sold my old place and managed to get quite a bit of equity and DH is a very good saver. I think you have a very good deal for where you are and the space you get, I wouldn't consider living further in as would be sacrificing so much on space and I think where we are the public transport is very good.

Fuzz def swings in roundabouts as I do get paid a lot more in London, but cost of travel is so expensive DH pays £44 a week to go into London, thankfully as I avoid zone this saves me about £700 a year (which I will be saving a lot more on from August!!)

tinks I think alot of people do test positive for strep b but I have no experience myself, did they not send a leaflet through with info on. I think antibiotics may need to be given to the baby after birth if it gets passed over but sometimes its fine but I'm not 100%. Said I wasn't 100%, antibiotics given during labour.

Rach I think the rent sounds about right for london. I pay a fair bit less £675 for a 3 bed semi, huge garden and garage in the south east. Plenty of people commuting to london from here but I wouldn't fancy the long journey and by the time you pay the travel it cancels out the rent saving but you get more space for when you are home, hmmm. Mind you ours is reasonable - It took nearly 2 years of searching to find a good size 3 bed (some are like boxes) for a reasonable price not £800 per month. We moved in january and were in a 2 bed for £550 per month (rent hadn't increased for 4 years and it has now gone up to £650 for that house so our new one is a good price). I still haven't got used to paying the extra rent though.

It's gorgeous out today, hopefully later I'll be meeting up with some netmums with DS at a local playpark.

Am not looking forward to fasting on friday morning, I'm gonna be starving with no breakfast. I think DD can be school dinners that day too, take away the temptation of picking whilst making her packed lunch.

Congrats hun, take it the scan went well. Boys do like to display their bits too. It was DD who crossed her legs and DS was so obviously a boy I didnt need the sonographer to do anything other than point the probe in the right area. I think I have a girl again so I hope they can tell this time.

Scan was great, but twiglet certainly didn't want to show off his bits! She said it was a good job we had asked her at the start if we could found out the sex as if she hadn't been looking for it she wouldn't have known.

When we started, he was lying on his head, with his spine bent and his toes behind his head! She said it was the strangest position she had seen for a while!

So im pleased though. Everything was fine. YAY!
