    Afternoon ladies,

    TMI ALERT>>>>>

Well i think things are kicking off for me. Last night i felt very wet when i was at a friends house and when i got home it was a straw like colour but wasnt really getting any pain.

Managed to get some sleep but i have used 2 pads so far today so i have just called the maternity unit to tell them as i couldnt remember when colour my water should be when it goes.

I have been asked to go if for a check over

My OH might be getting a fathers day card after all :)

Will try and keep you all posted later what has happened but if i dont you know i am still in.

    xx

Rach Yay! I remember reading your posts when I first introduced myself to the thread and noticed you had the same due date. How exciting! You seem a lot more organised than me. I need to give myself a kick up the backside.

Convent Oooooh, strong labour vibes coming your way! Would be an amazing present for your OH on Fathers Day.

Forgot to mention in my last post we found out bump is pink, so very excited now to put a gender to her!

How many people packed their hospital bag quite early (i.e. around my stage 25+1 weeks)? I'm confused! I guess it is better to be organised.

Xmas: yeh it was me who you advised about working part time, a great idea of yours :D prob is no luck finding any form of work ATM, there's so electrical jobs which is OHs background, I've even tried asking at morrisons and tescos and they are even laying off around here. I will keep looking though, think us both working part time would work as I enjoy my job (well I did pre-pregnancy!) so wouldn't want to leave but don't wana miss out on my baby :) they're not babies long, I'm keeping mine a baby as long as I can I don't want a stroppy teenager!!

OH was talking last nite about what he would do if he was fulltime sahd, he reckons he would bring the baby up very green and cutting costs: using only reuseables, making own wipes, and doing some 'green things' to the house to save on bills and enviro. I feel like we're totally diff, I'm using disposables and buying wipes!

Pigpen/ Xmas/ anyone?! Can you please advise me.. How many muslins is it best to have for a newborn? I currently have a 3 pack from ikea and that free sma one, do I need more??

Depends what you intend using muslins for!!

I use them for everything.. dribbles, to protect sheets from icky droobles, hats, noses, nappies in emergencies.. I have a pack of 20 plus maybe half a dozen I found later on from the others..

For my older 3 I never had any at all.
