To everyone commenting on the bugaboo type buggy I think (and it's only my opinion) that the wheel set up reminds me of a shopping trolley
So I wouldn't buy one purely because I wouldn't think the steering would be that great!
Something a bit odd happened today, OH and I had just picked twin 1 up from a birthday party and all the buses seemed to be heading back towards Bournemouth as 'Not on Service', that's the main road buses and our village bus which had been running normally up to then because I saw it go towards our village when we left. It freaked me out somewhat, because had OH not been about I wouldn't have been able to use the car and would have needed to be on that village bus (it only runs hourly) which had stopped being in service some way short of where I needed to get to which would have meant a long walk with two young children and being very late  and then we wouldn't have been able to get home! As far as I'm aware there were no unusual conditions
And there's no mention of it on the website quite worryingly.Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Thanks for the stay put vibes and well wishes, much appreciated.OH mam had a fall and hurt wrist last week but said she was fine so we thought nothing about it.OH phoned her on Thursday to tell her that I was getting induced on Monday but there was no answer on her house phone or mobile. So OH leaves work and goes to her house and finds her on the floor dead but covered with bruises.
That's why they have to do the postmortem but the police said there isn't any suspious circumstances.
I know there is no good time for someone to die but this seems to be taking the p1ss,we only have 1 week to empty her house then there is all the funeral stuff to sort out and her bills and I have to have the baby too.
Me and OH had a good teary chat last night and it released some stress I was feeling which is a not a good thing when I'm about to pop.
So please keep those stay put vibes coming and speedy vibes on Monday as I've got so much to do next week.Debt Free Date:10/09/2007 :j :money:0 -
Hazzie: I just can't believe how awful this is for you and your OH with you being so close to being induced, are there any other family members who could help out? You need to avoid stress with being so heavily pregnant. Really feel for you ATM and I hope that baby stays put.
Thanks for link pigpen, and thanks everyone for pram comments! I know it's not bad buying it now but I had planned on buying it after the birth but I had this fear it wouldn't be on offer then! So it's sat in the car and we're taking it to my mums tomorrow, she's told me it's not allowed in our house and I will respect her wishes and resist temptation to play with it! Keep telling OH i want to push it around the village! He reckons I will look crazy pushing an empty pram but I could always put my dog in it! (I am joking!!)
I have a slight dilemma, packed 3/4 of my hospital case and it seems very full and massive just for a short stay and for me and a tiny baby, all I have for me is nightie, dressing gown, mat pads, breast pads, toiletries, towel, pjs and leaving out fit (this hasn't been packed yet) all rest is baby stuff. I feel I have minimised baby stuff but it still seems loads. How big are your bags ladies?!?0 -
Hazzie... stop... breathe... and do one thing at a time!!! Let OH sort the funeral/deal with undertakers etc. and the coroner might not let you sort the funeral for a week or so anyway until PM is done, so ignore that for a bit. Job for tomorrow.. see to yourself.. make sure you have the baby stuff sorted and deal with that.. Monday is sorted.. and Tuesday will sort when it comes! See if OH can get an extra week on her house given the circumstances the landlord might be ok. Does OH have anyone that can help sorting stuff? Or better still a garage/shed he can box everything and sort it all in a few weeks when life is less hectic?
Kitkat.. I have 2 'hand luggage' sized bags.. 1 for labour 1 for after, and a carrier in the car seat with mine and baby coming home clothes.
3 full outfits for baby and a couple of blankets. 2 nighties and a couple of pairs of socks for me a towel in each bag.. 1 will go home straight after the birth when I am washed. The second bag is really a just in case thing because I have no intention of staying unless I absolutely have too.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Thanks for that pigpen. Maybe i should do the same and use 2 bags
this case just seems bulky. Think i will borrow OHs sports bag and use that for labour/ baby stuff. Then I can leave an additional bag with after labour stuff and my going home clothes as OH can just pop to car and swap over. sorry think am just panicking myself over small things. I still need to buy a car seat, the one to match pram wasn't on offer so I thought we would shop around or look for mothercare vouchers for it. Weird thing is pram was in stock but matching car seat was pre-order only. It is out end of June but seems strange!

I have already had my bloods taken this is to do with my results hense the apprehention as i say i feel fine though and the only time i have ever been anemic was after loosing 3 pints of blood with the first bab i always have a lovely blood count. My blood pressure is fine the only thing that worries me is if they have picked up a high blood sugar level or something is that something they test for at 28wks god if i have gestational diabeties i dont know how i will cope i have such a sweet tooth at the moment. I cant need anti D injections as im resus positive not negative and as far as im aware if your positive you cant produce the antibodies against the baby i could be wrong though.
Hazzie as pigpen said deal with the immediate thing first which is you and the baby. First few days with baby are normally fairly easy as they just sleep most of the time and just need feeding and changing so will leave you plenty of time for phone calls and organising but even so dont get doing to much you will need to rest too x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0 -

Just thought I'd poke my head in here and say hi after a brief appearance months ago followed by a long absence!
I'm 25+0 now, time seems to have flown by but I still feel I am way behind a lot of you.

It is either that you are anaemic.. or getting there.. which given 2 pregnancies in rapid succession is likely.. the iron store will have been depleted and not had time to make itself back up so it is possible.. that is pretty much all they check for at 28 weeks. they don't check blood sugars unless something has come up in the urine sample and you have to have fasting bloods at the hospital for those normally.
It is most probably you are anaemic OR.. th sample clotted before it got to the labso they want it redoing.. now stop flapping about it.. it is nothing worth geting distressed about!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
