I've never had a loo dash with any of mine just a more frequent need to poo in the days leeding upto labour but no dia woowoo. There is a contraction timer on the EDD list it may help you to log them on there to get a better idea of what is happening. Apparently the best way to time is from start to finish of each one then also time the length inbetween each one. At 37 weeks your classed as full term so labour can happen anytime at this stage.

Jay jay hope your getting mommy cuddles soon and it doesnt drag out for you :-) x

Why is this baby laid facing my back when all 8 of my others have been back to back???

how bizarre is that? I didn't think a different dad would make that much difference to the actualy pregnancy but there are loads of things that are completely different.

You never know pigpen you might make it to full term with this one as well. I found the labour was completely different with the my third one vs the other two and i had no complications afterwards unlike with first two ive put it down to the different dad as well. The kids are completley different too not just looks wise as that was a given being a diff dad but with their temperaments bubs is so laid back and content where as other two were little monsters with fowl tempers. New OH must have very strong genes as well as the other two are the spit of me not their dad but bubs is the image of his father :-)

Have you both found different sexes to have different temperaments and personality traits then too???

My son and bump have the same dad , but obviously have a boy and am due a girl in 12 days

also keep being told that second babies come quicker. any truth in that as I was 9 days overdue with Benji.
    Time to find me again

My OH is very similar colouring to the dad of the others but quite different inlooks.. not that it will matter because they all look likeme anywya.. I think this one looks like dad though going from the scan pic.. I've not been wrong before!

I REALLY hope this one has a similar temprament to OH.. my others are all foul tempered stroppy gits!

I doubt we will do full term.. I was a month early, OH and his sister were both early, 7 of my 8 were early... can't see this one being full term can you?
Have you both found different sexes to have different temperaments and personality traits then too???

Nope.. they are each their own person.. I have the 2 most lovely laidback sweet children in the world.. 1 boy and 1 girl.. and some of the most obnoxious evil tempered vile children too.. also a mixture of gender.

My son and bump have the same dad , but obviously have a boy and am due a girl in 12 days

nope.. no truth in it whatsoever! Sorry.. as always they come in their own sweet time! I think it is usually meant the labour is quicker with the second rather than they are earlier... but that isn't true necessarily either!

Well with my first two sammy i always found my little girl was an awfull baby (crying all the time wouldnt sleep) but an absolute angel of a toddler it was the other way round with my lad. We will just have to wait and see what happens with bubs once he gets past 12months but so far as babies go the lads have definitley been easier for me :-)

As with them coming quicker it depends what you mean my labours have got progressively shorter with each one (72hrs, 24hrs & 12hrs) but as for when it will kick off is anyones guess first one came the day she was due 2nd one was five weeks early and 3rd one was a few days off his due date and i dont expect to far off my due date with this one either. I have never gone over though luckily

My most difficult as a baby was DD1 closely followed by DS3.. for different reasons.. she just screamed and was constantly ill but he was sicky and vile. The easiest was by far DS2, DD2 and DD4.. all very very similar, lovely placid easy going. DS1 was just busy, wanted to know everything from day one. DD3 was an adorable baby, hit 3 and was possessed by several demons. DD5 was very much like DS1 but less in your face with it but God is she loud!

Sounds like you have a real mix there Pigpen but i bet it makes for more fun and interesting times. I dont think it matters what they are like we love them even if they are like my DS1 who is the sporn of the devil at times and who wants to live with the brady bunch anyways :-)
