I do have a complete mix.. and coupled with their individual challenges it makes for some interesting days.

It is lovely that they are so fiercely different and individual yet they get along so well, most of the time, when DS3 is not off on one.

nothing nicer than when they are playing together in a heap though, or sleeping in the same bed..

    hello ladies

I've had a pleasant afternoon mooching around the shops, though spent more than I should have! Picked up some sanctuary bump oil, lasinol etc in boots and a sweet little baby cardi and a little cot toy in mothercare, plus some books for the baby in tk maxx. also had a good look at / play with the maclaren xt and xlr. Weirdly even though they are almost identical i much prefer the xt. I just want to try out a baby jogger city mini before making final decision, need to find somewhere that stocks it.

we are going out for a drink with one of dh's friends tonight, am not really bothered but feel i should make the effort, he purposely said lets meet out (just up the road) rather than here so that I can make my excuses early rather than having people hanging around all night!

    jayjay - good luck!

Thanks, yes I've been looking at the website of the independent shop sir monster told me about. They do stock it apparently but says temporarily out of stock. They also have the unfolded dimensions which I've been struggling to get elsewhere. I suspect we'll end up with the maclaren anyway but I'd like to have a look at something else just for fun really!

Now I just need to email and ask if they have any display ones!

Hazzie: I am so sorry to hear about your OHs mum *hugs* sending you lots of stay put vibes. Hope you and your OH are ok.

Pigpen: thanks for your help with vits, went shopping today and couldn't find a holland and barratt, are those tablets just called raspberry leaf tea as I can't find them online?!

Did a bad thing today... Me and OH bought our pram! It's the silver cross 3d. We got it for £200 with money off vouchers and a gift voucher I had so not bad :) it looked really nice, easy to maneouvere and looked comfy for the baby as a pram or pushchair. The only prob was it doesn't fold as small as hoped, but it fit in OHs boot fine and his boot is smaller than mine. I will mainly be using it walking around the village when it's in pram mode, and odd trips out so I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm really pleased with it though! Also picked up a cheap nightie and dressing gown and some gorgeous big knickers for my hosp bag :) I'm ready to go now!!!

    Evening All

Hope everyone is well. I have been terrribly rude and not read back (sorry)

Any news from CAFC yet, or from any of the other due/overdue ladies?

Things are fine my end, baby is so low that I keep thinking it's going to fall out (as if it's that easy) It is making it hard to bend over though as it has it's head well and truly wedged in my pelvis. Only 10 days left for me now!! Have everything ready for HB, I didn't bother collecting the pethadine though.....I don't see the point, I didn't want it anyway and once it leaves the pharmacy it has to be disposed of, see i'm only trying to save the nhs some money;)

Just one thing though, baby has been extremely quiet last couple of days....still feel movement but nowhere near as frequent or as strong as usual!!! I have been tempted to phone labour ward, but I remember my others all going a bit quieter before labour, so I am hoping it is a sign:cool: Am keeping it monitored so I will make sure I phone if I become too worried.

    xx

Edit - KK Just spotted your post ^^ re rlt tablets...don't know if you are interested but I have an almost full bottle of them, I took 16 (i think) out of a pack of 100....if you want them just pm me. I am just not one for bothering with things like that....I bought them about a week ago thinking about reducing after pains, but just never remember to take them, and I will only end up throwing them out after baby is born, seems a waste.........if you would rather buy a fresh new bottle of them don't worry:)

Nothing is wrong.. it is totally routine to repeat bloods at 28 weeks to check Rh- and Hb.. just in case you are anaemic!

like the pram kitkat and sounds like you have got a good deal! well done.

DH is really into the idea of a sling so says I have carte blanche on our pram/pushchair but in reality it's a no (from him esp but me too) to anything big, esp big wheeler, or anything pricey or bugaboo like as he sees too many around where he works and hates them! So not really carte blanche at all! I don't want to miss the mothercare offer on the xt (though john lewis has it at the same price) so will talk to my mum tomorrow as she is buying it. I presume we can always return if we change our minds!

Xmas, it could just be that maybe you're a bit anaemic. I forget which one it was at that they told me I was - b!ggers have had so much of mine it's no blimmin wonder!

Kitkat, it's not bad at all to buy the pram just now, especially cos you got a good deal on it.

Rach, glad I'm not the only one thinking of books for bubs. OH laughed and said he couldn't believe baby had a reading list already, when I mentioned some of the ones I was planning on getting. Can't help it - I'm a geek who gets a really good staff discount!
