    Hi ladies

    Quick question
Are cashews ok to eat in pregnancy-I'm desperately craving them and looking at a huge packet right now.

All nuts are fine to nibble;)

(((hugs))) to smartie I think I'm having it bad with illness but nothing like you. Hope you enjoy spending the money.

I am also 5"2 so have also found it hard re trousers. I tend to go for the shorter length ones, dotty ps, new look and next tend to do them in maternity but does restrict you unless you want to alter the hems. Either that or will go from cropped ones or skirts as will be heavily preggers in the summer.

Starting bargain hunting for bubs, picked up a lovely two piece (green and yellow with animals over it) plus blanket (3-6 months) at charity shop for £2.99. Will go with the other small collection of stuff for bubs.

One of the receptionists at my doctors surgery is one of my old school friend's mum..... I'm putting off going in there because I know she's going to be cross with me for having another baby :rotfl: she's lovely really but quite formidable!

My mum's GP was my family doctor when I was growing up and he mentioned to her in passing that I'd asked to see another doctor and i had a quiz on why  it was like asking your uncle for the MAP :rotfl:

I'm trying to make him feel guilty for inpregnating me and making me poorly;):D:rotfl:

Lol Smartie, maybe I will try that with my OH, i know its not as bad a blood transfusions (poor you) but my asthma and hay fever have been soo bad since I got pregnant, maybe I could use that with him! :rotfl:That firefly from Amazon looks very sweet! We have got the aptimal polar bear, cow and gate cow, and 2 toys from ikea that were really cheap, but i like the firefly!!

Thanks CAFC, that is soo sweet of you, I could just cry thinking how sweet your being (I cried last nite looking at the bits of clothes we had got for the baby, it was the 'little pocket' on one outfit that did it for me!) lol. OH just laughs his head off when I loose it!
I also hate hemming things, and I dont like to put on my mum too much! Got 2 pairs of jeans that need hemming tho so maybe if I'm bored one night i'll have a go!!

My peacocks doesnt do maternity either, and if i drive to the bigger town (about 30 miles) the M&S only does maternity bras, and only baby clothes for girls, Next dont do maternity (only online) and New Look dont do maternity (only online). With high street shops, I prefer to try stuff on rather than order, pay postage and then have to pay to return item

Smartie, I hope you're doing ok.

Kitkat, lol at crying at baby clothes, OH keeps 'reminding' me that they're not dolly clothes when I bring mine out to look at. I just get somewhat freaked out at the thought of there being an actual baby in them in a few weeks.

Pigpen, I definately would not want to go to OH dr surgery. He insists they're fine with him since they almost killed him twice, which is hardly an incentive.

I haven't bought any maternity clothes apart from one pair of jeans which are huge. I'm in love with my bump band for wearing my regular jeans, and have just upsized my trackies for slobbing out in. I also got some plain vest tops (3 for £12 Dotty P) in a bigger size than usual. They're nice and long, with plenty of growing room, and I can wear them afterwards too. Mind you, don't take fashion advice from me cos I'm a scruff :D
