pigpen - true, i know it doesn't make any difference to overall size...i just thought maybe it pops earlier with later ones if muscles are weaker?
Nope.. I was in maternity stuff at about 7/8 weeks with DS1.. so not much difference.. I seem to get huge the second I POAS. Though this time I am not as big as I was with tiddles despite the fact I have no functioning stomach muscles at all... last time they were stitched in place lolLB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi all,
Im seeing my new boss friday and i know already that a risk assessment wont be mentioned. Im hoping today that HR will tell me that I can take annual leave in the 3 months I have to be back (so i dont have to pay old smp back ) God its complicated..anyway hopefully I can finish in 7 weeks!!! meaning ive only worked 7 weeks this year. Fingers crossed for me.
Nene - haha re your risk assessment - one extrme 2 another

lol Agutka, I keep bashing bump on the bathroom sink glad it's not just me who isn't adjusting to size!!
Thanks Kitkat - that's why I'm struggling to find a name this time
The only thing to come out of my risk assessment was that my screens shoud be higher and I need my keyboard closer - they've made screens higher now and I feel like I'm looking up all the time, and keyboard can't be any closer coz I have files out in between! Have tried it their way and just isn't comfortable.
Pigpen, people keep telling me I'm bigger this time around, but I don't think I actually am it's just all up front. what is poas??0 -

I think you are doing really well; going back to work with a young baby and with being pregnant, hopefully you can finish after 7 weeks.
Re: Risk assessments; mine is right next to my desk; it says I have to use the lift to go to toilet (its down 2 cases of stairs) and I suffer with claustrophobia so cant go in liftsI also cannot lift furniture (obviously!!!) and have to take care with my attitire, not to wear trousers I can trip over?!?! This just made me laugh!!! I am only 5"2 so do find trousers on the long side, so i normally jus go for the shorter ones anyway, i do think my boss is nuts!!!

Argghhh i have a mega sweet tooth with this pregnancy and its doing my head in as i know i shouldnt be eating all this sweet stuff. For breakfast this morning ive had some weetabix with my bowl of sugar a grapefruit and a banana and im just cooking me some sausage. I'm hopeing i can stave off some of the sugar craving by eating lots of fruit so went to the market on the way home from the school run and stocked up on all sorts :-):jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0

Morning All.....
Excuse any typing mistakes. Gordon is being clingy, and climbing all over the laptop, and is about to stick his tongue in a USB port! I think the closer it gets to due date and it all changing, the more clingy he's becoming...... He's being so cute right now though so I dont mind too much....
Had a nice long shower, singing to baby (poor little mite). I'm trying to set him up with good music taste, so today is a day of Al Green
Planning on more laundry today, all the horrible stuff to wash, like towels on a boil wash. Sun is out and glorious so I'll be able to hang them out on the line.
I'm so glad there are some more "midgets" around as well. I thought I was the only one. I'm 5ft 2 and the only maternity trousers I've got left that still fit are from Next and I need to take them up by about 3 inches LOL so that I can wear them out of the house.... They were ok when I could just tuck them inside my slipper boots!!! Will try and do that today...
KitKat- If my little fatty grows quickly, happy to send you my unisex newborn stuff. We didnt buy a lot of it, solely because I dont reckon he's gonna be in it long....and this is our only baby, so would rather it went to good causes/people. Some of it is new, some of it is second hand already.... up to you xx

hello everyone :hello:
I know what you mean about the sweet tooth  I'm terrible atm, and sausage rolls from the pasty shop. The ones you get from tesco etc are just not the same :rotfl: might have to have a pop at making my own
Well OH has decided he does want to find out the sex of the baby so should be able to let you know tomorrow what team we're on!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Ohh Delain exciting stuff! Hope you get the colour you want.:) EDIT That really doesnt sound right does it!)
Xmas - try fruit pastils theyre healthy and also count as part of your 5 a day :A:D Xmas - do you mind me asking but will you be entiteled to MA ? As its worked out well for you not going back to work
Kitkat - arw thanks kitkat . Your story is exactely why I find Risk assessments a waste of time. They probably only started from some nutter not using their common sense anyway and suing their employer. Hmm now theres a thought ..wheres my excessively long trousers I can trip over
re cravings / sweet teeth- Mines eggs! boiled scrambled ..even easter eggs ! lol .. I cant get enough eggs0 -
I'm getting my normal maternity pay SW I havent had to go back to work because of the holiday entitlement i had and it all worked out date wise very well. So although i am officially back at work as of the 3rd May because of my holiday entitlement i dont have to physically return to work ifswim. If my due date had been a few weeks further on i would have had to go back for a few weeks.
Never knew fruit pastels counted towards your 5 a day thanks for the tip :-) x:jFriends are like fabric you can never have enough:j0
