Hi everyone, thats rubbish about your work suzy. Hope those of you still waiting for your pumkin orders get them soon. I got mine last week, it was worth waiting for. Am now 16 weeks, bump is getting bigger and kicks are getting stronger.
Working on my assignment today and need to do some revision.Married 09/09/090 -
yay for bump bexta!
just hoovered and mopped kitchen floor, done washing up, cleaned up the dog poop from the garden, done last load of baby washing and not just started a load of regular laundry.....
just sat down to some angel cake and a glass of pepsi max..... watching the hotel inspector whilst I plan my next move LOL
In terms of clothes, I can vouch for charity shops (my mums in charge of bootfairs LOL). I've picked up some good name clothes for 50p-£1 for whole outfits. My fav so far is a summery green check dungaree and t-short combo, which cost me 50p..... , brand new still with label on, originally £12.99!
Plus like Bexta said, you dont mind too much if they dont get much wear out of it, or if it gets ruined....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I love carboots, and have been to a few recently (however much pain they cause me ). But I haven't gone mad. I don't have the energy to rifle through piles of babygrows, got these in the shops instead. I just pick put the odd cardigan or hat. I can't think of anything else I might need/want. Joseph is so much easier to bargain hunt for.
A lovely lady gave me an fp aquarium swing on freecycle yesterday - it worked like magic on ds, might work on this little one too.
This time next week!!!! Eeekk!! I'll be lying cut open on a table or sulking in some recovery room. Trying to name my new son. After five months of careful consideration we have a shortlist of about 20!! Need to get out more.
Speaking of baby names. My friends think I am silly for researching names. How can it be a waste of time googling names to find meanings, associations, nicknames etc which will be with him for life? What am I supposed to do, just give him the first name I see in Heat? Silly friends more like. Grrr.:wall:0 -

Also remember so think what the name rhymes with and what the initials will spell out with middle name and last name aswellWhat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
right girls i need help i cant count, im organising my sons rugby tour for next weekend total of 32 caravans but my brain cant count ive come up with 29,33,34,31 everything but 32 :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: i will be bloody amazed if everybody gets a caravan nevermind a bed:rotfl: i can see pregnancy brain being blamed alot on that wkend think ive got there now but we will see
agutka i think naming a baby is a huge responibility (not that having a baby isnt see her i go again) but its forever and has to suit your family i think, i cant see a boy living in my life having a feminine name i live in the welsh valleys and come from a tough ish back ground where all the men have manual jobs & play rugby and the women drink pints :beer:not me of course but a boy called kelly or beverley is just gonna get ripped all his life :rotfl:0 -

Are you really 28 in this picture? I'm 17 and not far behind you in bump size- and I was only size 10 to start with!Bellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -
Budget as hard as it is try not to worry. Many midwives strongly disagree with the accuracy of the test for downs and many people (myself included) decide not to have the test for this reason.
A raised risk just means you have a very small risk of having a baby with downs, not sure of the exact figures but for many the chances of having a baby with downs is 0.5%, therefore a 99.5% chance of it being born without.
One thing worth considering is that apparently if you have suffered a bleed then you are much more likely to get a raised risk reading (incorrectly for want of a better word) and for baby to not be born with downs. Have you had the nuchal fold scan? I thought this was more accurate than the bloods.0 -
opps I ate all the angel cak that was there.....and a pack of quavers LOL
DH is great with baby names. In that I make a suggestion, and he reverts to being 6 years old and coming out with all the stupid little rhymes that kids come out with..... so I can then decide if we want that name LOLWealth is not measured by currency0 -
