Np Sir Monster, It is only through experience that I would offer advice and I would try to never force my point of view on others, I always offer it as my opinion only, people can either take it or leave it:) I agree it is VERY annoying when everyone feels they need to bombard you with information, half of which you never even asked them about!!

Horse - With ds1 & 2 I had this problem In fact I had it soooo bad with ds1 I ended up with a horrible rash going all down the inside of my legs starting at the inny bit at the top...I used to have to lie down every night with my legs spread open with sudacrem smothered all over the area. I found the best solution was to wear dh boxer shorts, not sure if that would work for you? With ds2 and also this pregnancy(occasionally) I have found using panty liners/sanitary pads sufficient to absorb the moisture, although somedays still found myself changing underwear a few times too....

Pregnancy is gross isn't it _pale_ I'm really feeling the symptoms etc this time. I think my body is trying to tell me that I'm not 19 anymore and is protesting that I'm making it do all this again :rotfl:

It's a godsend for me having you ladies here for advice and this is my third pregnancy! I thought some of the things that were happening were really weird and it's so nice to know it's not just me!

Haha They should get real testimonies, with gruesome pictures of the reality of pregnancy....and put it all in a booklet to hand out to the 14/15yr old in school...might actually cut the amount of young girls getting pregnant in half;)

:rotfl: They showed us slides of diseased bits when we were in year ten _pale_ My god those are scarred on my memory for life! So shock tactics obviously do work.

I agree, My friend who was a few years above me got shown an abortion video:eek: She still remembers it to this day, and said she would never risk falling pregnant with a baby she had no inclination to keep as it was sooo horrific:eek:

Kids often have the truth hidden from them incase 'it upsets them' blah, blah, blah:p i say show it all to them and let them decide:p:D

Right, must go and kick my kids into shape......they still aren't dressed to go out and we leave in 10mins:p;):D

:eek::eek: Really?! My lord, even my school didn't go that far!

I do agree with you though, it really does work. I think the abortion one is probably one step too far though _pale_

    Have fun getting ready

    Hi everyone!

Dull and grey up here today (actually really enjoying it, have checked the bbc weather for next 5 days and it doesn't look like it will improve much, although the temp is going up a bit on Tuesday, can't believe how much i dread it being a nice day :p

Well back to work tomorrow after two weeks off, can't say i'm looking forward to it, love my job but think i'm really going to struggle - will miss the slightly longer lies and afternoon naps, think i only have about 10 weeks left until my contract ends which is when my mat leave will start
Had my 20 week (21 +4 really) scan on Friday was lovely all is well, just want October to get here really quickly now as i'm mega impatient! OH said 'oh look i saw a willy' to which the radiographer replied what did you see?? thats the cord!' lol up here the policy is not to tell the sex so it would cost £75 to find out whichwe don't want to do but i am getting really frustrted with the lack of nice neutral clothes.
Have decided that at the beginning of October i'm going to buy one nice blue suit and one nice pink suit and i'll return whichever isn't used

Have really been suffering the past couple of days have had a stich like pain across my bump which hurtwhenever i moved and made it difficult to walk back pain really playing up every night now too, same as last pregnancy so at least i know it goes once baba arrives!

Anyway hopefully here is a link to scan and bump pics if your not on fb

Sainsbury's had some nice neutral things when we went last weekend :) OH insisted on buying neutral even though we know it's a pink monster just in case!

They have some in the night garden sleepsuits in QS which I think are fairly unisex leaning towards boys and have lovely bright coloured stars on them if that helps.

    ETA: Nice bump :D

Hi everyone, congrats MSD. Glad things are getting better for you cafcc.

Was getting sharp pains in my back yesterday and in my ribs. I have had this before and its very painful. Has anyone else had this.

Was having a really nice day yesterday until my mum spoke to me on fb chat and was wanting to know why we are not having our nieces today. We normally have them every weekend for one day. Been having them every week for one day for about four years now. Tried explaining that we are having a break and trying to make most of child free time before baby is born. She was saying i we won't be able to do that when baby is born. Then she was saying that i have to explain to our nieces why we won't be having our nieces as much and that i have no choice and saying that she knew that this would happen, that they still had her and always would. My mum sees them every week at their house, she rareley takes them any where. Its like me and my dh are expected to keep on having our nieces every week when baby is born. We will still have our nieces, but not as much. We feel that we are been taken for granted now. My mum seems to like interfering, its nothing to do with her why we are not having our nieces today. If me and my dh didn't take our nieces out, they would rarely get to go anywhere other than play school and nursery. This really upset me and made me feel angry. I am now starting to want nothing to do with her. I don't need this stress its not just this, its other things she had said, always seems to be to do with either my brother, sister, brothers fiance and our nieces. Its more negative than positive.

Ahhggg! In the middle of sorting my house out still, but needed a rest so thought I'd have a lie down and a little look on here :) I'm getting there but it is at that awkward stage where I have nearly finished everything but lot's of little loose ends to tie up so haven't managed to fully tick anything of my list! ha ha! I love that feeling when you can put a big line through a job on your to do list! Simple pleasures eh! :)

moneysaver- poor you, getting a guilt trip for doing the right thing. It is such a shame that your mum/ sis can't just appreciate all you have done, without constantly expecting more. IMO it is much fairer of you to start to slow contact now, instead of just dropping it suddenly when bubs is born. SOunds like you have their best interests at heart and are being seriously undervalued. Not got any advice but try not to let it get you down as hard as that may be.

re buggy handles- I had the maclaren techno and it is the only 2 handled buggy I have ever managed to push one handed, all the others have been a nightmare, and go round in circles. I would go for a one handled one TBH, as you can get the bag clips anyway, so can still hang stuff over.
