Enjoying hanging out at home, only 12 weeks left ( hopefully I'll only make it to 9 !, 10 days early with ds)
House if finally tidy ( every cupboard, corner has been scrubbed ) I'm stocked up on everything I need for baby, got over 1500 nappies ( mixed sizes of course ) washing is almost complete, all that's left now is to disinfect all the stuff that can't be washed and wait for bubs. Got a massive bootsale weekend planned - normally only go on a Saturday but I'm taking mum to a massive one on Sunday it normally takes us 4 hours to walk round, "My name is MLSL and I'm a Bootsale addict:rotfl:"

Cant believe we've both only got 12 weeks (ish) left! can remember when we both 1st posted on this thread!! Its flown by! Glad your keeping busy, and not at work! Your very organised, I am still working on nappies, keep trying to get them on offer but they are always out of stock, or the shop cant deliver to me! Im hoping to go to a bootsale Saturday (weather permitting!) and maybe Sunday (this is a massive one like yours but takes about 2 hours to have a good look around!) but its an early start; about 5am, not sure if I can cope!! Think I'm a bootsale addict too!

Not long got out of my meeting; started 3.45pm finished 8pm

Thanks Tigtag for the advice :D I am actually getting MA not SMP when on leave :p please baby give me back my brain!!

Well done on your shopping Cafc! I have only bought one baby outfit from a charity shop (tried loads of shops and all they had was pink stuff!)
I wud defo check with your 'madwife' about how you've been feeling, blurry vision isn't good, and all the other symptoms you've got. It could just be your body preparing for eviction! Have you tried Sudocrem for your itching Cafc?

Well I spoke to my stubborn OH  and he has agreed to sign on, next week! Then we shall try apply for this Surestart grant, he actually seemed quite keen as he would get £50 per week that would cover minimum payments/ mobile contract/ etc so thats good, hope we can get grant :p

Kitkat.. you don't need millions of nappies.. the shop will not run out I promise you! I have never bought more than 2-4 packs for all of mine and have never run out.. I just sent dad to buy some when I got halfway through the last pack.. or popped one in the tesco delivery!! I really do not nderstand the compulsion to buy hundreds when you need so much other stuff!

I'm the same, just buy a couple of packs. Haha went to Asda yesterday eve to get shopping and nappies, poor monkey had 1 nappy left in the pack:o

I have only got 1 pack for new baby. I also don't think I have ever used 10 nappies in a day on any of them, well not regularly anyway. 6 feeds=6 nappy changes:D and that's if I even bother to change the night time ones!!!!!

Thanks Pigpen and Redmel, I just wanted to get 5 or 6 packs while they're on offer but as my OH said tonight, there will be plenty more offers plus we do not have space to be storing nappies!! lol. I've got 2 packs of size 1 and one pack of size 2. Might make do with those so it motivates me to get out and do some shopping once I have the baby, or get OH to!! :D
  • Hey ladies, been busy with Isobel but have had a lil read when I can. We're both doing really well, feels like i'm feeding 23hrs a day but so worth it.

Have just done my birth story if any one would like a read. first half is a moan about hosp, didn't mean to do that just ended up ranting :D you know how it is...

Hugs to all, labour vibes to any who would like them. xxx
