morning ladies
Hope everyone's well, congrats to BSM and MGEB.
Not a lot going on here. SPD is getting worse I think and I've been very down over the last few days. I had to remind hubby this morning that I really really do want this baby and I'd rather be pg and in pain than not pg, it just gets quite wearing. I am so insanely jealous of pg women who can walk. I'm seriously considering seeing if I can get a wheelchair from the hospital so at least I can get out of the house as the truth is I'm lonely and bored.
Woe is me and all thatUpdating soon...0 -
(((hugs))) to those who are feeling crap x
I'm happy to announce.... the morning sickness has returned:cool:
I sleep on my right side a lot of the time but try to get on my left side a bit more now.
moneysaver12... Banoffee Pie recipie:
I used about 200grams of digestive biscuits smashed to bits
3 oz melted butter
Mix together then press down flat in a dish/tin. Chill for 20 mins
Too cheat... a tin of (caramel) dulche de leche
OR
tin of condensed milk
butter
brown sugar
(sorry don't know measurements as I've made it so often I just chuck in what I think is right!!;))
Mix the above over a low heat and bring to boiling point. Supposed to boil for so many mins with a thermometer but I don't bother:D
Put the caramel mixture over base. Slice 1/2 bananas and place on top.
I use whipped double cream for the topping... and a crushed flake sprinkled on top:DBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
New mums alway look soo happy - it's probably cos they aren't pregnant anymore !!! I love babies and labour wasn't too bad last time, would rather have 5 labours than 9 months of pregnancy. congrats to BSM and MGEB.
I always wake up on my back, I go to sleep on my, sides, I have pillows wedged under and a big v shaped body pillow, but 9 times out of 10 I've managed to wriggle onto my back whilst I sleep. My husband prods me if he's still awake or so he says, I don't wake up, I'm quite a heavy sleeper.
Hope everyones ok. Our car seat arrived yesterday, we got the maxi cosi cabriofix and the iso fix base.
also did a fair bit of washing at the weekend when the weather was nice and hubby took a few photos of flumps clothes and nappies etc on the line.0 -

I have a little me hospital bag done... but only because I've thought I'll be in hospital by now cos of evrything.
And when my proper new pink big bag arrived the other week I put a few baby bits in:o:rotfl:
Just realised a parcel man must of came into the house while the dyson was on upstairs as I just found a parcel lying on floor:eek: I don't like the thought of someone coming into the house:( We have a bit of a dodgy front door and always lock it even when in as there's an alleyway/shortcut for people right outside... but I forgot to lock it after DS went to school this morning!!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
:rotfl:
We ordered the twin's new mattresses (£30 each from ebay) and the parcelforce man actually pulled up to the bus stop round the corner where I was waiting to say he had a mattress addressed to me in his van and could he leave it anywhere at my house
In the end I asked him to put it behind the hedge in my front garden so it wasn't visible from the road and he came back to let me know he'd done it. He's a legend that man, he could have just rung my doorbell and taken it ten miles back to the depot
Hopefully things will calm down a bit more now smartie. I'm hoping I won't need half as much as OH bought to put in this bag but I know if i just pack for birth and coming home something will go wrong and I'll be in for a week :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Hello everyone from sunny-with-cloudy-rainy-showers Manchester
I've got behind again (sorry) so hello newbies and hugs to those who need them.
I've just looked at the EDD list and I'm getting to halfway *yikes*. My bellymonkey is a wriggly little thing and is constantly kicking and moving, I even asked m/w if it was moving TOO much as I'd got myself worried s/he was distressed or agitated :-)
Just had my work contract renwed until March so at least it covers me for mat leave yay.Bellymonkey due 25/09/10 :j0 -
I was supposed to get something from bizziebaby over 2 months ago... still waiting!! They did email me about a month ago to ask if I had received it. I'm going to have email them back.
The parcel that was left was lots of "mama teas" that I won in a Gurgle compThere's a box of raspberry leaf and rose petal blend which will be handy for the eviction process!
And I only realised a parcel had been left when the doorbell went with another parcel... bedding for the cot:j:j:jBLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120
